    Game Giveaway II: The Returnining

I'm back baby, with a bunch of games rescued from PC World's 97 pence discount tray!

They're almost all budget versions, save for a couple, but as before I'm willing to give them away to anyone who asks. I'll put the list up tomorrow, but games I can remember include Freedom Force, MechWarrior 4, Thief DS and Broken Sword III.

Like last time, when I post the list please PM me with a list of up to three games you'd like to put your name down for, in order of preference. At 5pm on Friday 17th October I'll stop accepting entries and allocate games via random rolls at Invisible Castle. Please note however that people who sent me postcards after the last set of giveaways (i.e. Aja) may be given preferential treatment.

What, I sent you a postcard. I even sent you a pm about it. I guess something happened to it. Man, I'm definitely going to send you another one, but I probably won't ask for another free game considering I haven't had the time to get through the one you already sent me. Unless you have one I would definitely like, then I'm in.

Ah, I don't appear to have received it, sadly.

I'm closing this competition early due to lack of interest and the fact that I honestly don't fucking care any more. Those who have entered will be put into the draw but it'll be next week before I do it. Let's just say most of the people have a one in two chance of winning.

Hrrrr. I was going to put in my lot in the hope but two things stopped me:
    a) being in Australia
    b) having been involved in a draw before (even though I didn't win, I felt like it was greedy)

For the record, I would've thrown in a request for Freedom Force.

I kind of felt the same way as Scots, except I won last time, so even more so.

I won Silent Storm last time so I didn't bother this time; that and there weren't any games I really wanted. Not even Freedom Force- the superheroes are very clearly based on Marvel design philosophies and therefore suck.

Google only finds one hit for "Battlesiege 2", which mentions a 233Mhz Pentium being used to play it. If you just search for Battlesiege you get a lot of hits for Age of Conan.

Freedom Force is goofy as hell, but it knows it, and the gameplay is great. Lots of fun, and very addictive.

    And now the winners:

Starsiege: Tribes 2 - CCCToad, as the only one who wanted it.

Battlesiegezone II - CCCToad, for the same reason.

MechWarrior 4 and Black Knight Expansion - Chimpy Chompy.

    Thief: Deadly Shadows - Vraptor7.

Broken Sword III: The Sleeping Dragon - Aja automatically wins, as Chimpy had already won something.

Freedom Force - CCCToad (jammy bastich) and EvaUnit02.

Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis - no-one, you heartless scum.

Thanks very much for entering, congrats to the winners and commiserations to those whose names didn't come up. Could the winners please PM me their address details and I can get those sent out next week.

That was actually Battlezone II? I would've been interested in that.

Then again, I already got Tribes: Vengeance from you and still haven't managed to complete the game and send a postcard already. I'm not going to totally mooch off of you like that each time you put up a game giveaway.

Do you still have Operation Genesis? The demo was fun as hell on Xbox. I could PayPal the shipping.

Glad to see it arrived! I'll be sending more out tomorrow, I will get this pile shifted eventually.

I think I have a couple of Pro Pinball games lying about somewhere too.

There is something very shady about all this. Where does he keep getting them from?
