    T2 FM: Carkess' Escape (Oct 24, 2008)

Carkess' Escape is Carkess' first FM. The map is small but has a nice variety of elements...Ape Beasts, thieves, guards and Mechanists. It is a fun mission!

This mission was originally released as Carkess Flucht in German only. Intruder did the translations & helped me put everything together for the dual language release.

The file has been updated with Krenim's Italian translations added. Thanks, Krenim!

    Yep, me too.

Anyone know where the key is to the house in the middle with all the glass windows?

I also get crashes when trying to look at the map. It's surely because of the map texture wasn't set for Thief.
And where's the key to the keeper's house? The book at the start says it's in a small corner next to the house, but I can't find one.

    Found it!

It is on the right side by the wall when you enter the tomb

    Medalion?

Can anyone give me a hint to where the medalion is? I have been all over several times the note at the begining says it is in his house but I can't find it. Good mission so far!

    Hint:
    Look on top of things.

    Answer:
It's upstairs on top of the wardrobe.

I don't think it opens, and there is nothing behind it anyway.

playing on expert, an extra objective appears but theres no text for it in either the german or english version

I got it whatever it was but I'd love to know what it is, it seems to be tied to loot somehow

fun mission, I enjoyed it, nice first effort

I checked the original release again to make sure I haven't forgot anything while doing the translation but as you said, neither in the english nor in the german version there is a description for the 6th goal. The author just forgot to put a description in.

    THE MAP:
I'm sorry for the crashes after opening the map, but it's my fault. I downloaded the original .zip again and noticed that I was the one putting the page001.pcx into the miss20 folder. Originally the map was just inside the archieve but not used. While putting together the folders I somehow must thought that the map is used by the game and put it in there. I very much apologize for this.

Where's the Mask? It mustn't be hard to find because apparently I'm the only one who missed it but I can't find it anywhere.
