TAC Flowers For A Friend Nov. 30, 2008

    Nice mission! Well built!

I played it on normal difficulty and I found one locked door on the upper floor of the thieves' hideout, but no key for it. I have already been on both sides of the door, so playing through this FM wasn't any problem anyway, but I'd like to know if there's a key for it.

IIRC this door is controled by lever placed nearby. But I might be wrong, didn't checked it out right before posting.

Not to sound like a noob, but what's this TAC thing? I did a search and the results came up negative, even though the acronym shows up a dozen times.

    Ricebug

EDIT:: Never mind. Thief Anniversary Contest. DOH!

    TAC = Thief Anniversary Contest

    - eep!

whoops - you already figured it out. It could also stand for The Age of Concrete (Thief 4?)

the trouble with this one is finding the lockpicks, the level is fairly sparse, so i 'm sure they'll turn up.

One lockpick is near the fog machine and the other is under the counter in the bar.

one location makes sense, the other seems very silly. okay, all done now. i could have used all that gear early, just ran out past the new thieves rather than engaging them.

I like very much the idea of this mission. The thieves pumps fog around the gravestones with a machine to make the place look haunted preventing people from visiting this place. Very good !

one of the secrets is in the rocky area, in the part you must crawl to get to - it is guarded by a little spider. anyone found the other?

also, did I miss the graveyard key somewhere?

Good mission. Nothing outstanding in thieves area but good anyway. Finished but have question: when done and returned to graveyard ground, I think I heard some footsteps but didn't see anybody. Was it keeper ghost or somebody else?

No, there shouldn't have been anything.

I heard the same, I thought the same thing like Durinda D'Bry, that I hear keeper's ghost This mission was nice, I like the plot with all that graveyard conspiracy - pretending that it was haunted. Cool idea

But the left door remains locked, you can only lockpick the right door.

The ghost making the footsteps, I think, because he is there even appeared and disappeared at the start. He is invisible but the foot sounds are not removed from him. Would be better to teleport out from there after he played his role, or to remove his feet schemas.

I am almost at the begining, just passed the barracks and the gaming room and I can't unlock the next locked door. I have one lockpick, (found under the counter) which doesn't open the door. Am I missing a key somewhere?
I don't think to have meet the fog machine yet, unless it's the malfunctioning turbine.
    Help please.

Nevermind.....I keep my monitor so dark, and I didn't see the ladder....

I don't remember a locked door there? You need to go down a ladder in the bunk room next, IIRC.

    Edit: too late, I see.

Yeah, that's what I thought. That would be ironic. Thieve's creating a make believe haunting of an already haunted graveyard!
