    T3 FM: The Hotel (17.02.2009) Update: v1.6

"Hotel" is the sequel of T3 FM "The Keeper". This map is also based on the original TDS map "Garrett's Building" with extra space added - new and secret rooms, attics and library.

The diary of the previous hotel owner falls into Garrett's hands. The diary tells about secrets that a thief couldn't even imagine. This news compels Garrett to go on a night adventure...

    Play this at night.

Well, in fact everyone should do it that way, but I've heard stories about people playing the Cradle at midday and without music.

    This gets my vote...

for one of the top 5 T3 FM's.

Really good atmosphere, claustrophobic (as a good FM should be) and great use of sound.

Well I downloaded and tried to play but kept getting the error message each time...and after uninstalling DS and Garrettloader etc clearing everything out Five times and rebooting between uninstalls I was about to throw in the towel...I even did three separate downloads as the first said it was corrupted......I swore at The Lappy, the Dog and thought I would have one last try... so I put my Hammer, and plastic bag down, and re-uninstalled-re-installed everything...again..... and IT WORKS.....ffsake!

Now I can play....why has Garrettloader always been such a twitchy little Bugger?

ps.the plastic bag is to contain all the pieces when you use the hammer...neat trick eh...you can tell i've done this before.

    Hi JonesCrusher :)

Had to dl twice, but this is usual (at least for me) with T3 dl's. You're right about GL, a right PITA at times, it's never been stable on my pc.

Anyway... I'm stuck. I'm trying to find the key for the chest located in the ghost room (the one with the sliding bookcase), anyone know where it is?

    Regs, Mike.

What a fine mission of crispy difficulty !

But I'm stuck in the last room before street area - I hear voices from pagans there. How do you get into the area behind the half-open/non functioning door ?
I'm done with all quests but the loot reuqirement (stuck at 72%).

    I have three questions .

Down in the basement are two pagans round a fire..there appears to be a wooden doorway down there between two green fuzzy lamps...can you get thru there somehow?

    also

Can you get up onto the bar-balcony with the pagan,I can see a hole texture in the roof but cant find a way up there.

    also

at the end of the Hotel there are two guards outside by a fire, and just inside is a room where the door is ajar ,which I cannot get open or get through,is there a way in there?I have removed the boxes from behind the door but no joy.....I am virtually at the end now but these three things are all I need to do.

Nice mission!..imaginitive and loads of nice hidden accesses...I loved the Braces of Birds hung up in the kitchen and the Bunnies too, reminded me of my childhood when Dad used to bring in his kills and gut them on the double drainer, there was always something being prepared Ducks Pheasants Bunnies for their meat and tails to pollenate the Appletrees.....I Digress.....the only thing I didnt like was the continual frobbing for sliding bookcase button in that one room..

and the cat coming thru the wall at the back of the upstairs pub bar...I tried to Bj it behind the bar but no joy there either...heh heh

Mike...sorry!.I cant remember where the key for the chest was...I am sure I picked up around three keys in this mission.

Nice to play a T3 mission again

Wow, thanks Savar...what a great mission, I've managed to get through this without shouting for help...until now.
I've found the bookcase switch after dealing with the pagan ghost, I only have 81% loot and I'm stuck behind the bookcase area and can't find out how to get back out
    Help please.

Down the corridor is a small bathroom. Have a look on the wall behind the door.

88% loot so far. I have a sneaking suspicion that the rest is below the trap door in the small attic that was hidden by a wood door/crate, but I can't find a way to open it...sigh.

P.s. Thanks Savar, I looked for hours for that key and it was in plain sight all along.

RavenHook..Go to the end of the corridoor, where the door which is ajar is, and you could see thru the other side earlier...and look around you in all directions

Savar...I am stuck in the same place as Mike...I am in the attic room with the single bed frame..after the last pagan room. There is what looks like a wooden trapdoor in the floor..I have piled everything I could on it but it wont open and no switch to open it....do I have to get down there?

I am stuck at the same place as Mike and JonesCrusher . I am in the attic room with the single bed frame beside the pagan room and I can see the outlines of a trapdoor in the floor. I have looked everywhere for a button and tried with the knife but nothing works. I am sure I have to get down there because I have only 83% of the 90% and I think I have been everywhere else, or what? Help wanted.
