    Thanks, I'll pass.
    It's ok, I don't expect anything, but that it might help you TTLG'ers in some small way. A very very small way.Piss on the American economy....

    @trioptimum.com

    This question has probably been overbearingly asked - but I can't help myself, I have to ask it again

    Is it still possible to acquire a trioptimum.com email address???

    Thanks for not flaming me for asking this silly, absurd and ridiculous question - I know, I should be condemned to a life of pain and misery for asking this!

    Yes you can, but it's not a donation perk - thread you need is over here.

    You're welcome but credit must go to ZX6R for running the service. It's something that wasn't set up by TTLG - just another example of the great contributions that members make.

    It's been a long time since the TTLG donation thing needed to happen and I remember the terror I felt when the server went down so long ago. So how is the health of the server these days and finances needed to keep things going?

    I made a $25 payment 28 June 2023 and got a swift thank you next day, which was rewarding to see. I was also worried about what state we are all in for this brilliant resource and hopefully someone will give an answer for you as to the longevity likelihood of the forum.

    My biggest concern is Discord channel knowledge not getting back to TTLG. Knowledge keeps forums alive and attractive. I appreciate Discord is a great idea (seriously useful!) but the wealth of information over there doesn't seemingly get put back here for everyone in TTLG to discuss and learn from. TTLG is the 'God' resource and I want it (personally) to always stay that way. My worry is that as time goes by TTLG forums may well become staler and staler as more of us get answers in Discord. I'm old. And I've seen this forum death happen on soooo many forums when something new comes along. No blame to anyone - please understand this is just a personal concern, not a set of facts, and it may be unfounded. Not good to worry though is it?

    I wish I had the time, wisdom, and intellect to transfer learned knowledge from Discord over to TTLG where it is lacking, but I still go to work every day and frankly you need a master of knowledge to do that task, not me - a beginner learner of Dromed etc!

    My gut feeling is that a number of years ago when the old server died and there was a great big campaign for donations to build a new one and keep the site going is that there was a pretty substantial dollar amount donated. I know I donated whatever I could at the time even though I was broke.

    As far as cataloging the Discord threads here that seems like an impossible task and might not really be all that useful in the long run.

    Long live TTLG!

    Agree that Discord can be useful - it's good for discussions and quick answers but I can't see it ever being a useful long-term repository of information.

    I realise that a response to the above posts is a bit delayed but I don't have direct information on the donation status - that's handled and managed by Saam who remains the owner of TTLG itself. I have had confirmation that if nothing were to change then we should be OK for approximately the next two years. We will need to look at donations again at some point - two years is not far enough in the future that we can ignore it but equally the site isn't under threat of losing hosting immediately.

    I would be more comfortable with a five year buffer because two years will blow by very quickly.

    Is this still a thing? I made a donation earlier (30 USD) and wanted to get 'The Necromancer' as a custom title if that's possible

    Thanks for the donation, they really do help. I don't recall seeing the request flagged up before but I don't deal with the donations directly. Title has been updated for you
