Outright giveaway: It's in the apex addict's room in the Seagull's Nest. You get to it by climbing the vine outside the window and nabbing the key off the sill.
The apex you need to collect: is in the first upstairs room of the Seagull's Nest. Climb up to the shutters (there's a vine) on the outside and grab the key through the window to get into the room. Apex is near the dead guy.

Just finished a bit ago and it was excellent. I only had one problem with Nostalgia and that was the forced ghost. That never happened in this mission and it was excelent. Thank you so much for a great taffing expirence.
Oh man, right where I have to drop the assassins body, outside the window. Right across the way, by the lamp post, there is a patrolling guard STUCK on the lamp post. There is NO WAY AROUND HIM. I tried throwing something to get him to move, reload the game several times, killing him sends everyone into over drive. Its funny in a way, I have to start over again.

I had that problem too BA. I solved it by standing where he could see me and swinging my sword. He chases you and gets unstuck, of course he'll chase you when ever he sees you after that. Got a chance to give this one a quick spin and I really enjoyed it - Loved the atmosphere and the music along with the voice acting.

Well, I'm to go in the drug addict's room. I know it's next to the room with mother and daughter, also, I can climb up from the back street to its shutters. I can half-lockpick them, but can't frob any key through the shutters.
Any hints?
The key should be just visible below the ledge of the window.
You should have both lockpicks by that point and be able to open the window

Ok but I can't go to cemetary, investigator's flat, and sewer anyhow.
I am not sure, maybe the lockpick was included in your reward for your first job (the sack on the topfloor of Seagull's Nest.)
You'll get the sewer key later.
1. Finish your first job.
2. Go back to the Seagull's Nest. Get your reward & your next task.
3. Lockpick your way into the investigators home (This may be optional)
4. Lockpick the cemetary gate.

You get the second lock pick after you have completed the first task from the night masks..then go back to where the night mask first saw you and you will get the second pick and another task to find the hide out..it will be in a bag on the floor.

How to kill the assassin? I have a poisoned dagger, but it's not a weapon, it's an item, so I can't strike with it. Also went back to the flat with the dead father, but couldn't find the small creature again.
To kill the assassin just "use" the dagger on him. In other words, face him and use the right mouse button. Be sure you aim well (face him directly).
Been everywhere, but can't find assassin!!
He's in one of the guest rooms in The Rusted Hook, sleeping.
