T2 Vertical Contest FM: "Lady Mossy" (16th Sep. 2009)

Download T2 Vertical Contest FM "Lady Mossy" from TTLG server

Not proud to say it, but I'm stuck already. Got out of the starting house, everything's locked up tight. Got on to a rooftop, but didn't really find anything. However I think this is a potentially great FM.

P.S. Hope I made the thread name right.

Edit: Hmm, I think I'll go creative and lure a guard out and pwn him...

theres no map in this one? a map would really help me know where i'm going. also, the doors are weird, they don't make a locked noise when i frob them, anyone else have that problem?

Yeah, I have those sound problems too. Though there are also some nice other sounds implemented in place. I suppose it would need some polishing, but I understand these sorts of things, when it comes to contests.

Got into a house with my technique. ^^

Oh and I don't think a map is a must have, at least not yet. Oh well, We'll see...

issue with this fm for me

GL says it cannot tell what game it is for, i have to tell it T2. also after installing, the OM loads, not this one.

so I uninstalled, went back to OM, runs fine. reinstalled City conflict part 3, no issues there.

is my download of this fm corrupt?

I found a key, but it only opened windows. Mission looks great though. Gonna wait to see if it's the doors or I'm just missing the right key.

Where? I was able to lure one of the guards out and get the "Guard's Key," and it allowed me to get into his area, but there's seemingly nothing there. Other than that, I can't make any progress on this one yet.

Is making a ruckus the only way to get in? I'm kind of frustrated since I only have a blackjack, flashbomb and 2 mines. If I raise hell, I want an army's supplies to back me up!

Finished this one. Intriguing on several levels.

As for doors, what I found is that they are all soundless. Some can be picked, all others need the appropriate key. I had to 'start a ruckus' to lure AI through two doors, before things really took off.

    window key

at the end of the building to the right there are little wooden windows on each side. Climb the one on the left side of the building. The upper window can be picked and there is a key which opens the other 3 windows, though i was unable to find anything in those

Any hint on where the door keys may be? I lured the guard out beat him into opening the first gate, but that's all. Can't open the other gate.

I feel it must be said that there are a lot of pictures of nude women in this mission. They're all tasteful and perfectly portray the beauty of a woman's body, but if someone is letting young players on and doesn't want them to see that kind of content, I just wanted to warn them.

I'm stuck in the same way. Maybe the next step is to get "seen" through one of those small windows and then have somebody rush out and open the door for you.

    :)

I was hanging there for a while like Tarzan on a rainy day, but no one actually noticed.
Except the guard from other building, but I couldn't find anything in his building

Ah, I missed picking that window . Once you have that, you can get the front door key (behind one of the other windows).

What is the Thor02's technique?? I have several keysand I used the gem on the pedestal on the top floor where the tree is growing and it made the same noise as when I used the keys but don't know what it did or opened?? Don't know where else to go!

Edit: Forum Effect! I have finished but I would still like to know Thor02's technique for doors. PM me if you could and Thanx for this mission and any replies!!

So now that you have finished, what do you do after you use the gem on the pedestal and hear the "acknowledge" sound? Did some door open elsewhere that I am unaware of? Is there another object you have to use on the pedestal that I am missing?

Nevermind, I finished it. For those wondering:

It seems all you have to do is frob the pedestal again after using the gem on it. Then you will be teleported to a new place and the mission will continue ...

Thor02 posted near the beginning that he made a ruckus and drew a guard out. That's all I did and then I found a few keys once I got inside. Definitely the wrong way to go about it. I never got a chance to try to finish as I had to go out.

You have a rope arrow there, and through the hole above. But careful, I was stucked in that hole a few times.

Search that dark little room for a rope arrow (I think it was in the chest). You'll also find a flash bomb (IIRC) somewhere in there. Then look up, there's a hole and a wooden ledge by the wall it's closest to.
