    T2 FM: DarkWood (Dec/11/09)

This is a first small mission from Shadowhide. It's his first steps into DromEd, he spent not more than a week in the editor. Consider it as a test.
The mission has a single goal.
Now, the author has started to work on his second Thief mission. So let us wish him luck!

    Download.
    Screenshots.

Nice small mission, the spider pit was very cool. Too bad I didn't had a sword.

Edit: clearing, maybe an idea to put the date in the thread name?

I actually installed TMP, cheated to get a sword, and slashed them all. It was not that easy, but fun.

This mission still needs some work. For example, all the room brushes have the height 400(!) or 900(!!). It seems it was neither optimized nor lit with Objcast light.

Edit: Just finished it. Nice little mission with some interesting ideas. Congrats on your first release.

    Stuck

OK, I've been to the first outdoor area, snuck past the two undead, made it to the one-room house, used the holy water/arrows on the moving undead inside, and found a rope arrow under the bed but no key for the obvious panel in the floor of the room. I tried using the rope arrow on various places in the first outdoor area without success - lots of invisible barriers seeming to hint you're not supposed to go higher than the top of any of the walls. What do I do next?

(I'm not sure I want to go through a spider pit like that weaponless, but clearly I will need to get there and go through to end the mission, so...)

    Cat,

    Thanks for those mirrors!

I wanted to dl this one - but the transfer rate from that Russian site was simply atrocious!

(ttlg is half the speed of thiefmissions but way more than darkfate.ru)
((tho df.ru does have awesome screenies! ))

Ok; I'll volunteer to ask the dummy's question - how do you open the trapdoor in the 1st house? Those zombies are starting to irritate.

I just found the entrance: check to the left of that door and you can enter through the bushes.
I just started this one myself.

    Gloria Creep

Nice creepy misson. Thanks for building it.
I threw the shovels into the spiderpit and they almost got an attack! hahaha

Thanx, Gloria, but I'm in the house; I meant the trapdoor that looks like a floormat.
