[WinLauncherXP]Alternative to imagecfg, cmdline tricks, and affinity[dualcore fix]

So I was doing some research on UT99 for dual-core problems, when I came across this. (Note: Most of the fixes seem to be related to AMD - skip to Fix #4)

Also, I did do a search on TTLG and found the following threads (all old, hence this thread):
    http://ttlg.com/forums/showthread.ph...winlauncher+xp
    http://ttlg.com/forums/showthread.ph...winlauncher+xp
    http://ttlg.com/forums/showthread.ph...=winlauncherxp

They all have tips on dual core problems, and mention WinLauncherXP, a program I found while trying to fix my Unreal Tournament speed/glitchy issue. I tested it with Thief and thief 2, they both work!
Note: When using the program to configure your game, make sure Processor 1 is checked, and all others are unchecked. (Under the SMP tab when making a configuration for a game.)

DISCLAIMER: Download and use at your own risk. If you're paranoid, scan the file for anything bad. Appears to be safe though.

Anyway, thought this might be useful to some other folks who don't feel like doing permanent changes to their system or temporary solutions (alt+tab affinity solution) I also post this in the hopes that it will be useful for the thief FAQ.

Thanks Sneaksie. This should be stickied.
Seems much more user friendly than ImageCFG.

FlipTIB has been written specially to fix multi-core issue, and it's little simpler. BTW, it speaks on 21 languages, even on Chinese .

Well I just gave FlipTIB a try.. that's cool, it's even less noticeable than the winlauncher. Thanks MoroseTroll
