My first thought whenever I hear/read that word:

Awwww I like the word but I guess the people have spoken. Focus testing at its finest

On the topic of names, I think it's time I settle on one for the game. I've been kicking around a few ideas:

    Karaski
    Indelible Clouds (or Skies/Heights/Flight/Effect?)
Indelible Vessel (or Indelible Steel Vessel)
    Above Indelible Clouds (or similar)
    Erratic

The first is my current "project name" and first choice, but being a made up/foreign word I've been realizing it might not be the best. And i do like "indelible" as it plays into the the consequences of your actions i'm going for as well, but want to combined it with something since the word itself is trademark (which, I know, isn't 100% protection as we saw in the banner saga, but at least provides disambiguation)

Eitherway, whatever i pick it can't be as ungooglebale as Postmortem hehe

I quite like Indelible *****. Karaski sounds cool too, and it's less likely to be confused with a word like 'inedible'. In the end it's up to you though.

Well what's the context for Karaski? Because you could always go for The Indelible Karaski if that works.

I don't like the word "indelible" because I don't know what it means! Boo! My vote is for Erratic.

Also, this is more and more turning into something I'd love to play. When are you starting the beta, Koobs?

I read "indelible" as "inedible" which probably isn't the effect you want to go for. You could always go the time-honoured bargain bin route and call it "Karaski: The Indelible Subtitle"

Try combining some of them together I think.

    Ie: "The Indelible Karaski"
    "Erratic Flight"

    etc

Karaski is fine. Even if it's a "made up foreign word", it works as a title and has a nice catchy quality to it.

    Karaski
    Karaski
    Karaski

    ...I like it.

Thanks for all the input guys, much appreciated Karaski is my first choice and current working title and I do like the unique and "sharp" sound of it.

deth - it's the name of the ship you're onboard, named after its creator

That's actually a VERY good point and another friend said he had no idea wtf it meant either. I can already see a lot of people misspelling it. i do like the subtitle as well, but same friend also suggested Karasky to make it a bit more English-friendly, plus it has the "sky" pun. Tho it does butcher the pronunciation so im not sure how it sits with me just yet.

    Or maybe Karaski: Infinite ;D

funfact: my sister used to have a Full Metal Alchemist wallpaper on her laptop with an "Indelible Sin" captioned on it. I once snuck in and photoshopped it to "Inedible Sin". Took her a month to realize

That's probably the best compliment I could get at this point Beta's still some ways off, but if everything stays on schedule, I might begin some very preliminary pre-alpha testing in a month or two.

Ulukai, you too, things seem to be moving fast for you. The video looks like it controls very smoothly and fluidly, got a nice "flow" to it

Thanks guys. I can't take credit for the music, but it has taken a long time to source the right kind of tracks (and at the right price).

MOAR Fire. Coming up with new spell effects is amazingly fun. Amazing what you can do with dynamic lights, particles and some simple mathematics. Rotation Matrices are great

    Physics and stuff in Wheelbound!

P.s. Ulukai, I'm a big fan of "Die human!" popping up. Also looks like the game is getting really good in the feedback/juice department.

That's awesome, Nicked. The style of art you're going for kinda reminds me of that old, old Playstation game Sir Lomax in Lemmingland.
