I also tested it, and it is a map glitch. Yet some (other) torches have the same glitch in Bonehoard.

(Also) let me know (you or other user of this forum) how to create a hole in DromEd, like this in mission "The Haunted Cathedral". From what I see, there are also some blue textures inside cathedral.
(Is possible to copy brush from map05 to map12; if so, how to copy brush)?
EDIT: There is a transparent tree in mission "Return to the Cathedral" at the beginning.

Possible HD glitch in Bloodstone prison
Replaying Bloodstone prison, where you need to put out the candle on the altar in order to trigger the haunt to go and collect a new candle, but the candle appears unlit with no flame....if you shoot a water arrow at the candle you hear the pleasing sound of the candle going out and the haunt is triggered to go off.....this scene is important to progressing in this fm as this is how you get the vault key...

Sorry, but that's hogwash...
You can use DarkHook + Cheat Engine to do that. You have to use "Collisions: OFF" + "Fly Mode"...

Try it again with the original "dark.gam". Just copy the dark.gam from the Thief Gold main directory to the "HDMOD" folder! But first make a backup from the "HDMOD\dark.gam"!
If it works now then it's a problem with the HDMOD gamesys...

re Bloodstone prison candle.......replaced Dark.gam as per instructions and yes it is a HDmod issue, candle burning brightly with old Dark.gam.....

let me guess, you are using that intel gpu from your last log? if so, you will need to get some better hardware.
make sure you are using the latest gpu driver.
