(BETA) GUI App to batch import T3 static meshes into 3DSMax

    Hi everyone,

Just joined the forum after a few weeks of shameless lurking while I figured out how to work the editor (and how to complete those awesome Cabal missions).

Anyway, I've been trying to find fast ways to export static meshes from T3ed into Maya to customize for cutscenes and the fastest way I've found involves messing with ShadowSpawn's command line apps, which means finding texture files manually and then fixing connections in Hypershade.

After spending 20mins exporting a single mesh I decided to go back and make a little GUI app to automate the process and also improve ShadowSpawn's truncation hack, which is required to make things work in 3dsMax but confuses it by changing texture file names (so texture references are broken).

Unfortunately I haven't found a way to convert DDS textures to other image formats through an existing command line app or an open algorithm so you still have to do that yourself (photoshop plugin etc). If anyone knows of any please let me know!

    Here are the features/system reqs:

    Features
-Batch-convert TIM files into 3DS files
-Converted files will be output to directory of your choice along with DDS texture files they require
-You can also use this to retrieve all the textures for a given set of static meshes so you can customize them
-Modify expected texture format so when you're done converting the textures all you have to do is place them in the same directory as the 3DS file and everything should work fine
-Texture references are fixed for truncated texture filenames
    -No installer
-Free to use for personal or commercial work, just don't try to sell it off or claim it as your own!

    System requirements
    -Windows XP/Vista/7
-.NET framework version 4 (download here)
