Subtitles for the English version are available, but they are off by default. They can be enabled after Darkloader/GarrettLoader has installed the mission.
If you use GarrettLoader, go to Thief2\books\english and use the two batch files to toggle the subtitles.
Darkloader moves things around a bit and the batch files go missing. Download them from here and put them in Thief2\books\ (there is no 'english' folder).

The mission includes a German translation, with conversation subtitles enabled by default.

You know the part where you first confront the keeper to get the fastrot potion? The door that triggers it doesnt seem to have a collision detection on flashbombs. Throw a bomb through the door, open it and bj the keeper, BAM, mission screwed =D

I stuck. Having dealt with Flane I've recovered the money, but the goal isn't checked still and I can't get into prison area to destroy the letter.

Hmm, I'm running round in circles. Where's the Evidence Locker in mission 2? I thought it would be "Confiscated Items" but I've robbed everything I can from those rooms.
Check your map for another room that might have an evidence locker.
Aha! Dunno how I missed that GIANT SAFE on the wall! On to mission 3!
Having a blast so far! The level design is great, the ingame cutscenes are particularly impressive, and MEGA props for auto-mapping the whole thing!
