    Most annoying NPC

I think this is a strong candidate - the wretched priest in Whiterun is initially amusing with the overdone preaching, but quickly gets old. A "shut up the Whiterun priest" mod is clearly necessary.

Oh god, that guy definitely tops my list. Smug, elitist prick. I think I may go back to Whiterun tonight just to stab him.

That's the guy who's allegedly stuffed in the Jarl's backside, as his wife continually repeats.

"I work with my mother to sell fruits and vegetables"

"You know the problem with Skyrim these days?"

Come to think of it, there are quite a few...

I was at the Global Games Jam three years ago talking to a mate of mine about what we were doing with our code, we needed to clean up some objects from memory, and at one point he up and says something along the lines of "Right, this is how we can do this - destroy all the children".

    So fucking right.

Rolff Stone-Fist in Windhelm is one of the most annoying buggers I've dealt with so far. He's a drunken, loud-mouthed, racist pig. I'd kill him, but he's not worth the bounty I'd have to pay.

Actually you CANT kill him... he is a essencial NPC for some reason...I snuck on him, slashed his thoat with tha super cool death blow finishing move, and he just kneeled for a wile, got back up and said " I sometimes go to the Gray Quarter and let them Gray Skins know what I think of them"

As for the topic it self, how about Grelka, in Riften? "Are you gonna buy something or just stare at me?" I heard her plea (she wanted to get enough money to leave) so I bought everything she had, spending arround 6000g and, the very next day..... she was there with even more merchandize and without my gold...Leave Riften my ass.....

    EDIT!!!!

OH!!! THAT Imperial armored guy from Whiterun that asks "Gray mane or Battle Born?" Answer the "wrong" name and he will go like "I should bash your face in after all you have done"

Yeah; that guy's especially annoying as well. Trouble is, I've done soooo many quests and sub-quests that I can't remember who I've pissed off or for what reason anymore.

I think the trick is to take him out without getting arrested though...

Doesn't his house get ruined when Whiterun is attacked? Same thing with the loud priest?

    Shadowmere.
Horses are stupid. I don't like horses. I don't want horses. And yet I think I might have to actually buy a horse to get rid of Shadowmere. A horse which, of course, I will kill - hoping that after its death, Shadowmere won't start following me again.

Damn you Astrid, damn you to Oblivion for "gifting" me that horse. You deserved your painful death.

Killing won't do, she'll come back.

Open console, click on Shadowmere, type disable, press enter, close console.

I'm thinking about dressing up as him for Halloween this year. LOL. Going to have to memorize his speech. :P

Haha, yeah. The worst one is the Nord in Falkreath: "Don't even think of stealing anything!"

Man, I spent close to 300 hours playing this game and I've never even seen Falkreath.

So my vote will go to the guy in Riften - Pawned Prawn? He starts saying "Welcome to Pawned Prawn!" both when you enter and when you talk to him, so it's like an one-two punch.

There isn't much in Falkreath. It was a while before I actually caught that character in his shop. He spends more time in the pub.

Incidentally, considering my own game coverage, I haven't even managed to finish the main quest line yet. I've "only" clocked up about 170 hours though.

Also, I think Brynjolf is on my list:

"Sorry Lass, I've got important things to do..."

No, you've just run out of scripted dialogue so shut the hell up...

Actually, that's a glitch with Brynjolf; had the same thing happen to me so I looked it up on UESP Wiki. And that was only after about a gazillion hours of doing other Thieves Guild quests.

'Note: If the "One With the Shadows" achievement/trophy has not unlocked after completing four special jobs, you need to speak to Brynjolf to instigate Under New Management. However, if you had also been doing the main Thieves Guild quests and had reached the point of investigating Mercer Frey/Karliah, Brynjolf will not talk to you correctly. Merely complete the main quest line to the end, which will unlock the Darkness Returns ending and then Under New Management will follow on afterwards and you can talk once more with Brynjolf. It has been said to have your Thieves Armor on you when you then talk to Tonilia, but this stays the same. She gives you the Guild Leader Armor on top of that and then the achievement/trophy will unlock.'
