Can't remove shields from inventory

I'm hoping this is a known issue with a workaround because I've got multiple shields (with negative durability) stuck in my inventory. They can't be equipped and they can't be dropped, and they are taking up inventory space.

Any ideas?

That is a bug. Just unequip shields BEFORE they have possibility to have negative durability.

After you get one of those indestructible shields, you have no longer throuble with this issue.

There is more than enough shields around.

I had the same thing. A shield went down to -1, and it could not be gotten rid of.
