    Helps you reach tumescence?
    Doubtless.

I dunno, but it would be nice to get a digital copy of it with Wasteland 2, sort of like they did with The Bard's Tale (although, inexplicably, that deal didn't include the Steam version).

Well Dethtoll's none too subtle hint to use google has turned up THIS.

Will see if it will let me download without any last minute "oh by the way you have to be a premium member to do that" type stuff.

I think that was less of a hint and more his way of expressing that he didn't enjoy it.

I was able to find a copy of Wasteland here:

    http://www.oldgames.sk/en/game/wasteland/

You will also want to find a place to download the game's manual since many sections throughout the game will instruct you to refer to paragraph 'x' in the manual for conversation trees. This was primarily done to avoid wasting any precious memory on in game text.

You know, I realized the other day that we pretty much live in Shadowrun times. Big corporations running everything, making our lives difficult. Hacker groups scouring the internet. Otherkin and furries all thinking they're elves and orcs and whatnot.

    And you know what?

It's considerably more dorky than we thought it'd be like in the 90's. I'm really disappointed.

It's a bit cyberpunk I guess, but there's a lot less rain, mohawks and random gunfire than I was expecting.

    Trenchcoats too.

Ugh, party-based. I'd prefer having one core player character and optional hirees.

Will be pledging now that Avellone is on-board though.

  18. #93
It's Wasteland. Presumably you create a party and then also have recruitable hirelings.

There is now a 10 minute Q&A video with Brian Fargo of some of what the game will be about.

More art, a reddit IAmA from today, currently over 2.5M(more level designers, more art, more music), and only a couple more days to get it cheap ($15) as the retail price will be more.

Wellp, my $15 are in. Never played the original Wasteland, but I'm all for a sequel done by the guys at Obsidian.

Love the overgrown-ness in that second shot. More of that please.

  24. #99
Yeah, the overgrowth in that shot almost makes me wish this were a bethesbryo game. Almost.

Shouldn't that be more of a CryEngine thing?
