Development commitments made for Wasteland 3 crowdfunding campaign will remain unaffected by Microsoft purchase. https://wccftech.com/inxile-backer-w...mpression=true
Eg Linux, Mac, PS4 ports. Launches on Steam and GOG.

After Phoenix Point and now Outer Wilds going Epic exclusive and breaking their prior promises, others have learnt not to screw over their financial backers. Good.
To restate it again: we’re committed to our backer promises, and you can expect the Steam and GOG versions of the game on launch day. No store exclusivity.

While I don't agree with Epic store exclusivity, I can certainly understand the attraction for developers, especially smaller ones, when Epic are throwing cash around for exclusives.
inXile have less to worry about than most what with having been snapped up by Microsoft recently.

Yes, I know Obsidian were also bought by Microsoft and have signed an exclusivity deal with Epic, but given Chris Avellone's grumblings about Obsidian's upper management and accounting, I'm not really surprised that they're taking cash wherever they can find it.
