Incredible that this is finally released - can't wait to play it. I've been looking forward to this one for years and I'm glad it's finally here.

Shame to see people having crashing problems but I hope they get sorted because from what I've read already this campaign is a future classic.

I really like it! I just have a hard time to

"learn more about this mystery" 3rd objective in Hard difficulty.

I play in french language so I'm not sure of the correct translation in english version. Anyway, I'll make another round of the surroundings again if I can find it by myself.

Well I can unfortunately confirm that divx isn't the problem. I have the latest drivers and the movie don't work. I hope a solution is coming soon!

Looks like I'm not the only one with a movie problem. Works fine on my newer win7 machine but won't with my older xp machine. No problem for any other missions on either machine.

    No-Movie Version available

If you are having problems with the mission crashing because of the movies and you don't know how to remove the movies from the mission archive, you can download a movie-free version here (mirrors would be appreciated):

    No movies version

And you can watch them here:

    Intro Video

    Ending credits

Gat, maybe you could include these links in the first post?

I downloaded those as well and the movie still don't work.

Edit: In fact the lav filters cause the game to crash to desktop at the end if mission 3. Noit even the mission complete video would play. I completely uninstalled the lav and now I'm back where I was. Just the Black Frog mission movies don't play. On to mission 4.....man this is an awesome campaign so far. Hope the movie bug van be fixed!

    +1 from me too

Bar a bunch of minor mapping errors (that should been caught at beta testing) this mission is very well done, the story is impeccable and engaging. I might have to go and play Emilie Victor from 2002 to remember what the relationship was between her and Garret.

Btw Gaetane, I was able to get up into the roofs in the town section and then down into the docks

Just finished and I'm kinda sad, I thought somehow Emilie would survive.. The end credits were very well done, it prolonged the said emotion.

Now I think in my TDM mission's I have to have to learn how to creating briefing and end credit vids like these.

    Concerning the movie playback problem:

The movies use an XviD or DivX codec for video and an MP3 codec for the audio part. Most Windows versions will already have an MP3 decompression codec installed, but many need at least a DivX codec (version 5.21 was sufficient for ancient Win98SE here) to play the movies.
Sorry i didn't see your post
I'm working on this issue and I transcoded the movies with the Indeo5 codec now. I need to make some tests for checking. I hope i go the right way.

Hah, thanks, but all that bling is mostly the engine and the mod doing the work. I need to learn how do create a good story like you did with BF..

This is a simply fabulous mission set. It's challenging, never boring, beautifully planned and great looking.

    Thank you Gaetane.
