Hey everybody -
Finally finished my entry for the Reloaded2 contest (my 2nd mission overall), and it's now available to play. It might seem somewhat familiar if you've played the other contest entries.
The base for this FM is Child of Karras' TDS City mission.
Story:
You went out drinking with Basso last night, and now you awake with a crushing headache. Must have been that special reserve ale he couldn't stop talking about. Man, this is going to be a bad day.
(Yep, that's it)
IMPORTANT:
Please check out the readme file, specifically the section on "Warnings and Known Bugs." It can greatly affect your gameplay.
The reason I picked this level:
I enjoy trying to write a story and playing around with objectives (and as of recently, scripting), but I hate messing around with any kind of graphical enhancements. I figured this level looked pretty darn good already, and was just waiting to give Garrett some things to do.
Special thanks to my beta testers - nickie, Sgt. Pinback, darthsLair, Gloria Creep, redface, ffox, bassmanret, and Shaz.
I would ask everyone here the same as other authors have - try to point other players in the right direction, as opposed to just giving them the answers they're looking for outright. It's much more fun that way.
Get the mission here or here. Have fun, and I'd love to hear some constructive criticism if you have it. I don't offend easily.
Edit: Updated to 1.01, due to potential early mission breaking. Thanks to TheMike for pointing this out. Changes: Made powder kegs in City Watch storage immune to fire arrows.
Edit2: Thanks to Lord Soth for the mirror over on Taffers Paradise.

Thanks! Congrats on the release!Good luck in the contest.
Congrats Mike ! Excellent Work !![]()
Congrats on the releaseThank you!
This seems great so far! Quick question though:
Are the explosive kegs in the storage area in Southquarter mission-essential items, or am I free to use them to blow up large groups of zombies? Because I'm sorely tempted.
Just checked on that, they were supposed to be immune to fire arrows, but they are not. Do not destroy them, you'll need them later. I'll have to post a quick update, as that's a pretty vital thing that can get messed up early.![]()
Lol, speaking of which, I did mess up and destroy them.I figured, luckily I made a solid save right before that. The explosions were kinda/sorta worth it though...
Thanks for the tip Mike, I'm posting an update now. It's amazing the little things you don't think of.
Can't find the fire arrow!!!
Pagan - you don't need a fire arrow for anything, weapons are optional.
Congratulations on the release Mike!
Missing the fire arrow and barrels. Apologies!![]()

I'm having a lot of fun with this, Brethren! Very well done! Though, after playing Haplo's I must admit to feeling some deja vu.Two missions with the TDS city map + undead?! What are the odds? Also, I thought I was playing a Haplo mission there for a minute when I found the "shopping list"!
Right now, I am trying to locate the trigger core. I know it is in Jordan's and I think that Jordan's is the round tower next to Electrical Coil D. Is that right? If so, I might need a small nudge in the direction of the key for that lock box. I found the door in the street under the crates but can't open that either.

Have a look round Norrington Court in Stonemarket. You'll be able to open that other door later.
And just where might that be?
Well I thought you'd only need a tiny hint.Looking at the weaponshop in Stonemarket, there's an alley to the left past a barrel. Go through there and you'll be in Norrington Court.
Congrats on the release Brethren! I'm looking forward to play this one tonight![]()
When I saw that this mission also used the TDS base I just had to go and take a quick peek ... and that weird hot tub just got weirder. Nicely done.
CongratsDownloading!

I managed to get into the storage near the blocked arch to the docks, found 2 barrels of explosive powder
I have also a coil and read 3 books in the bookstore.
I cannot proceed. No luck with power, or getting any gate open. Need a hint please.
"To live in the light is to see everything, to live in the dark is to see everthing you missed in the light."
There's a fenced off area near the fountain. You need to get in there.
Or do you need a hint on what to do with the power?
"To live in the light is to see everything, to live in the dark is to see everthing you missed in the light."
Have you worked out what the correct numbers should be? It's a bit of a puzzle.
