Congrats Thank you!

Ahoy!
Wow, it took me a long time to get this FM released. Not because of bugs, but because I've been really busy and I had to put the release on hold. But today my FM is finally here.
Mirrors:
Darkfate - Thanks clearing!
Taffers Paradise - Thanks Lord Soth!
Southquarter - Thanks Brethren!
Note that you WILL need the TG Patch if you are playing with Thief: The Dark Project. I have tested the FM with both TG and a patched-TDP and it works perfectly.

Story:
Some tips:This FM takes place between Thieves' Guild and The Sword.
"After the Ramirez and the Downwind Guild jobs, I decided
to keep a low profile for some time in order to strengthen my network
of acquaintances and associates. It didn't take long for some rich
people to follow my trail and try to contact me; heh, I robbed
and humiliated a Warden after all. One night a stranger knocked
on my door and said his master wanted me to do a job for him.
I was about to dismiss him when he managed to... distract me.
15,000 gold for the job, it's something I cannot refuse. The job
is to break into a highly-secured embassy in the middle of Hightowne
and steal a priceless diamond staff owned by an aristocrat from
Blackbrook, a city-state currently at war with The City. That noble-
-man, Duke Whitehall is urging the Baron to cease the war between
The City and Blackbrook for economic reasons, and my mysterious
employer doesn't want that to happen. By stealing his staff, he
thinks that the Duke will blame The City for the theft and return
to Blackbrook, cancelling all negotiations and thus allowing the
war to continue.
Breaking into this embassy will be tough; since the meeting is to
be held tomorrow, the security will be extra-heavy. The district is
closed at night and a swarm of lawmen patrol the streets, but
fortunately a friend of mine can let me through the Lampfire Lane
gate for two pieces of silver. I also have a map of Hightowne that I
managed to piece together over the years. I don't go often in there,
but it's a pretty lucrative area despite the danger. Once there,
I will have to carefully avoid being caught; the rooftops or the sewers
should do the trick. My employer has given me instructions to follow
with some information about the embassy itself, this will come in handy
when I'm there, because I have the feeling this is not going to be a
cakewalk..."
- Remember to read the scroll you are given at the beginning of the mission, it contains some hints.
- Explore, explore, explore. While the mission isn't all that vertical, there's still tons of hidden things and goodies.
- Save at least one or two rope arrows in case something happens. There are two rope arrows you can find in the mission on any difficulty level.
- Be sure to read everything you come across. The readables aren't novels, but they are still pretty helpful and contain various hints.
- I have designed the mission so that there's always a way out if you find yourself stuck.
- You can climb a lot of different places and there are ways to get out of the level if you're very good.
I want to thank everyone who hanged at #dromed, and of course my beta-testers at Shalebridge.
And of course you at TTLG!

Thanks a lot, downloading now
Congratulations on the release. Looking forward to playing.
And thanks for the mirror clearing - deposit files hate me and there's a not very nice pop-up as well!
I got it! Thanks a bunch!
Finally! I have been waiting for this mission for a long time!

Thanks everyone, and thanks clearing for the mirror!
Feel free to ask for hints if you get stuck.
Thanks Skacky, beautiful mission ! Congrats on your release !
Awesome, thank you! Can't get enough TG missions. Congrats on the release!

Woah, perfect timing!
I've just finally gotten Thief to run again on this godforsaken netbook.
I'll give this FM a try!
That's got to be a new record I think, even considering skacky is a professional.
Anyway, I have just finished this, all objectives completed and 500 loot short (but there will be another time!). This is just a spectacular mission: beautifully realised, with all kinds of stuff towering above other stuff, full of exploration opportunities that feel varied, hard, and rewarding when you find something entirely new. So many ledges and balconies! The area with the main objective is hard as hell if you don't use your blackjack; loud surfaces and all guards with hair-trigger reflexes and short patrol routes.
Wonderful! This is the best mission I have played this year - and I have played some very good ones.
downloading now.. from the screenshots i see it reminds me Melan missions, this is my favourite type of missions, the type of atmospheres i love to feel, the thief 1 type of map that i love...
Melan i hope this mission will convince you to get back to Dromed and bring us again your lovely t1 city style map missions that only you can make for thief 2 ...please get back to thief 2
hugs
Pedro Quintela
This looks great for 3 months. It's a fun mission too... I just need to find my headphones and I'll be set.
So what is it you work on usually, Skacky? That makes this mission look so great?
I'm in the embassy and can't find Rufus on the first floor with the key to the second floor bedroom. On the first floor I found 2 guards and another unarmed guy but none of them have keys. Thanks! Cool mission!
Finished.Awesome mission
Larger than i expected Congrats again skacky.
HauntHunter: Rufus should patrol the whole ground floor (except the kitchen and the sitting room). He's a regular Opera guard but he has a yellow key on his belt.
Albert: My most recent and actually only 'pro' work thus far was done on the Source Engine in a completely different style (Cyberpunk), but I have a fondness for cities and impressive buildings in general.
Glad you guys liked the mission.
The embassy gets a bit hairy on Expert if you wanna ghost it but I've made sure it is possible. Concerning the build time, well it took me only 3 months because I've worked with tons of level editors before and trust me, Dromed is actually far from being the worst.
Congrats on the release
Holy CRAP!!!! This is an AWESOME mission! I've done nothing but explore nooks and crannies and I love it!
I've just started playing this and i don't think it would be premature to say WOW! Thanks for this release!
