At the risk of over posting on this thread I really liked this mission. I was short a few hundred loot and for me that is really good. Diese ist ein sehr gut spiel (Ok, das ist Schlecht Deutsch, but I only speak a little. Never learned to write it.) Lot's of things to do and interesting story, especially for a first time effort. All I can say further is WOW

Totally blown away with this mission including the mother of all libraries.
I have a nonsense verse but no diary that is being talked about, I doo have the room key but there is nothing in it...I had visited it before via the ceiling.
How in pities sakes do you befriend a ghost...

Removed at the request of the author.

The diary you need is in the room next to Abronsius in a corner, behind the armoire I think, can't quite remember.

How do you befriend a ghost? Who knows...

Which difficulty do you play? If you do not play on Expert (Fathom), then the nonsense sentence is only an nonsense sentence.

    Edit:
Hm, hm. I do not think Ravenhook is playing on Expert...

Ts, nickie, shame on you. Do not blow the secret of this cute ghosty.

Noooooo...I'm being a whimp and playing the easiest selection.
Thanks Nickie....ignore the author let as much out of the bag as you like while I hold him down.
The "room next to Abronsius" is that the trashed room or the one the other side...I cannot find anything in there at all, or am I on the wrong floor...

Right you are ducks! If you're playing on Normal then the riddle and the diary are of no use to you.

There are very few differences in terms of AI in the levels but loads of difference on what you can do and where you can go. So, stop being a big girl's blouse and get cracking with Expert.

Girls blouse it is then, must stock up on a shed load of just for men and grow my hair long...Ok spill the beans, I have cleaned out the treasury...what are the wretched codes.

When you find Abronsius you should ask him.

If you want to know a code play on Hart. If you want to know everything play on Expert.

I thought the diary and nonsense phrase clue was cleverly done and clear enough when you take the time to really read it. I had no problem figuring it out. But I have to ask, what is "kludge"?

    Tannar:
    I think so, too.
Erm, "kludge" is something like poor done work, something that is not done properly. (It is colloquial...)

One random bit of advice that has no impact on any of the questions being asked: Don't pick up any glowing smoking girls in strange towers, you never know what you'll catch from them...

I think I"m about halfway up the tower....
but this mission............... I've seen less twists in a pretzel factory with the bends... its quite a maze

I need a small hint. I've finished all objectives except to find more info about the artifact.

Did you find a hole in the floor in the library?

Yes, and I went down there but I can't remember how I got there. I didn't find any reference to the artifact there, though.

Behind Lovis' room there's a water tunnel - did you try getting up there?
