    The Drymian Codex: Trailer Movie

This teaser/trailer should provide a little glimpse without giving away anything, and perhaps also whet your appetite.

Note: This is not the briefing you watch before playing; we'll have one of those too. This is purely shameless marketing.

We're about to send final Beta to the testers and hope to release by early February.

ps: A nice comical moment in the teaser when a little mouse squeaks its way across the screen and the words

You know, I'd be inclined to label this mission a masterpiece but I haven't had my bribe yet.

What?? I posted the check weeks ago!

Jeanne - glad you liked that juxtaposition, I wondered if anyone would notice. There is at least one other thing in the teaser which you will realize, after playing the mission, meant something a bit different than you thought.

Just a word on schedule - when I suggested a mid January release earlier, I was completely forgetting about translations. We've engaged translators now but it will be a few weeks for them to get them to us, then Tannar and I (mostly Tannar) have to put them in, format, and redo textures with text etc. Then a final check by everyone to insure it's all good. So I think we're looking at late January or early Feburary for the release - we want to have all language support in the initial release instead of making our non-English speaking friends wait.

EDIT: We're hoping for French, German, Italian and Russian by the way.

Looks nice, but won't the giant letters get in the way of sneaking around?

We have German and Italian covered. I'm not sure about Russian but I think it's covered too. We are still looking for a French translator. I have posted a request in the French forum.

Russian is also covered. Thanks for the link zappen, Briareos H is in fact who we've asked to do the French translation, but he's not replied yet, so as Tannar said we've put out a request on the French forum.
