    Dragon's Castle Final Release

Well it's a day of celebration as this post marks the release of the final version of "Dragon's Castle", a remake/improvement project of the NES game "Dragon's Lair" which I have been working on and off on over the last 2 years.

This comes complete with the level editor to make levels as you see fit. Not much in the way of documentation for it but as the game is tile based most things should be relatively easy to work out.

Any bugs/problems/issues, either send me a PM or an email at:

Congrats man! I remember when you were just starting posting your first threads on it, and then watching your progress in the what are you making thread. A fun if challenging journey innit

Certainly was. Challenging but HEAPS of fun.

Doing the sprite conversion stuff in Photoshop wasn't. But designing the levels, getting the right sounds, making the music and coding everything was alot of fun.

So much that it's hard to just leave it out there and not keep working on it, as there will always be things that could be added or improved.

Already had some people complaining about the Snake boss on level 2, on some other forums I advertised the game on.

Top post updated to new version of 1.01. This version should help players who were having problems with the snake boss + player fire ball attacks are sped up slightly.
