So I got inside the iron gate by luring the monk out and then following him inside after he gave up the search. After that, I found an intact gear key inside. So how do I get back out? I searched through the mansion area, but could not accomplish anything other than destroy all enemies and find the trapdoor behind the mansion. What next?

I have activated the teleport and sent out the time bot and now I would like to destroy the teleport. I have the detonator and it says only when everything is done. I cant get into the mansion. I have a bent gear.

This applies to both of you, obviously:

You (should) have a bent gear - and you can't fix it, but time can.
Use it on the spider-like robot. And it should return with what you need.

Thanks for quick answer, but how do i get the robot working, i put the silver gear key on it and nothing happends?

The sequence is as follows:

1. After attaching the parts to the time machine, there are TWO switches that can now be frobbed..
2. Grab the critter bot on the shelf (only one of the five can be picked up).
3. Place the bot on the pad inside the room on the mall, circular pad.
4. Frob the bot with the bent silver gear.
5. The bot will reappear with a new silver gear.
6. Place the gas-filled boiler next to the time machine on the shelf.
7. Ignite the boiler with the "useful flare" you found in the hospital maintenance room.

3 seconds. If it does not return by that time, you've got a real problem.

Where can I find the part that goes onto the frontmost part of the device? I already have the other three missing parts and the rest of the necessary items and I'm completely stuck

Hi Guys
if I follow Ricebug instructions and the bot does not appears. I put the three parts, and it wont take the boiler with the gas in it for the fourth part.

then I used the two switches, then tried to put the bot on the circular pad but will not stay, the pad rejects the bot.

But if I put the three parts on, the first switch is highlighted, then I press the switch, then the second switch is visible then I press the second switch everything lights up.

Then tried to put the bot on the circular pad, the circular pad's energy reject the bot.
this was one scenario

the other scenario I tried is this,
I put the 3 parts together, the first switch is highlited, I press it, then went to the circular put the bot on it, then gave the bot the bent gear, so far no problem, then press the 2 nd switch the bot disappears, waited for it to return but nothing.
So I am at a lost.

Ok, that sounds like you discovered a bug.
Anyway: you need 4 parts and the boiler is none of them. That comes later (5th part, so to speak).
Which position are missing then ? top, left, right, front ? (bottom is #5)

I have the 1. boiler filled with gas, 2. suppressor, 3.resistor. 4. modulator. 5. bot. 6. bent gear. 7. a useful flare. I notice it is the very bottom of the unit the lights up. the unit will not take the boiler. Why is it that it takes 3 parts of the unit to highlight the first switch. Also, on my objectives it has a check mark on it that says I have all 4 parts.
can you tell me what I am missing.

You should have a Sequencer as well. It will fit on the right hand side (brown gear). Visit the hospital and find some head-like machine part.
Did you find it and drop it somewhere - or maybe the objective ticks off incorrectly here?
I do not know. That would be up to Ricebug to figure out.
