Brilliant. The Box goes with it incredibly well.

If anyone is interested I've made a playlist of all my Dark Souls 3 videos:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...wzfNQ9HqhabyKg
Mostly of boss kills so far but I've also uploaded a recording from an invasion which turned really chaotic as several enemies and an NPC invader joined in on the fun and I got some help from a rather unexpected source in dealing with the original invader.
Made a little video about the awesomeness of the Broken Straight Swords in Dark Souls 2. With the appropriate infusions and rings, these are suprisingly powerful and remain useful well into higher NGs.
Are you dual-wielding broken swords or using this in your primary/off-hand? It's kind of hard to tell due to the speed of the video.
The staggering effect is interesting considering that this doesn't normally happen with any of the other sword weapons that I am aware of. Have you used it against any of the bosses?
I'm powerstancing them, except in the scenes when I'm alternating left hand and right hand normal attacks. The stone ring is important, it helps a lot to stagger enemies, and powerstancing does stagger more than a single weapon too IIRC. With these weapons you attack quickly enough that they can't recover poise, and due to the super low stamina cost, you can keep attacking for ages. You could do this with any powerstanced straight swords (same moveset) I think, except the stamina cost would be way higher. Not especially useful against bosses that don't stagger (that is nearly all of them) and enemies that have infinite poise.
This is the best. There will be no topping this.
Yeah, that killed me; particularly the part where the asylum demon pops his head up in disgust.
The crow at the end is what hit me the hardest. It was perfectly timed to the music and everything.
Since the expansion is coming out in a couple of weeks, I figured it was high time to get Dark Soul'n again.
It's been a couple-three months since I last played, so I kinda suck. This ain't my most graceful battle. Took me about 4 tries before I finally took him down.
That went pretty well actually. He's a deadly foe, particularly in his second phase.
I'm currently playing Lords of the Fallen and watching this video reminds me of just how much better the boss fights are in the Soul's games. It's not that the boss fights are poorly done in LotF, more of a case of how much more atmospheric, polished, detailed, and exciting the DS boss fights are, given From Software's greater experience and budget. Speaking of which, I wonder if FS are planning to use any of their DS style mechanics in their VR title next year. It could be pretty amazing to be able to face off against a boss in VR, though could become quite disorientating with all of the rolling.
I could imagine DS fights in VR being an express ticket to projectile puke town.
...and they're doing a VR game? :O
Yes, no hints on what it's about, just the following:

Okay, that's just awesome. I was expecting to see the screen jump around when he'd do a roll, but...the whole projectile puking thing is probably a good reason not to have that in there. :P
That looks pretty good to be honest.
Oceiros - The Dude Guy King. I never have liked this fight. His spastic movements always make the camera and targeting system go wonky. Because of that, I died on my much slicker looking first try. Took him down on the 2nd.
I don't remember Champion Gundyr being nearly so aggressive as this. Guy would just NOT let up. Took me 6 tries to bring him down.
It was a strange combination, facing off against Ocerious, the easiest boss in the game (notwithstanding the annoying camera action), only to come against Grndynrnrrr moments later, one of the hardest in the game; although I didn't have much trouble against him in NG, only NG+. To be honest, I had harder time against those two black guards before Ocerious.
Oh gawd, those two knights before Oceiros are the biggest pains in the ass. They're like Gundyr, in that they practically give you no time to recuperate, and have attacks that can just strike you suddenly without warning. Going through both of them is as hard as some of the earlier bosses of the game.
This had me cracking up so hard I wanted to share it with you![]()
I made a little Dark Souls 2 music video:
Another awesome video from Mal! I have to give props to this one over your last tour of Dark Souls, because it doesn't make me feel woozy watching it. :P
That was very cool. Not quite as impactful without the Box as a soundtrack but still really good.
Just a cool (albeit short) Dark Souls 3 music video I found:
