For the first time ever, one of my games will have... VOLUME SETTINGS!

Man, this is starting to look like professionally made videogame right here!

I couldnt' sleep last night and decided to download Stilt Fella. An hour later I had figured out how to take a proper first step, but I'm still having trouble getting a walk going. I managed to make it over the gap in level 2 by doing it one step at a time and straightening out after each step, but holy hell this game is hard. I guess the fact that I was willing to fail for an hour, though, says that it is also very good!

Currently making art assets for my Steam page.

Serious question: would you guys consider Stilt Fella to be a game with MATURE CONTENT? That's one of the questions I gotta answer when setting up the page. Are kids gonna be traumatized by seeing Stilt Fella fall over so many times?

That's not what they mean by mature content. Stilt Fella is strictly immature content.

I saw the thread title and thought you'd completed the latest iteration, but it's actually from 2015. Guess it wasn't as done as you'd thought, lol.

I think you underestimate our henke, Pyrian. Like so much of his work, Stilt Fella is placed in the uncanny valley at the intersection of existential despair and hope. It asks us, why do we fall? And it offers a tentative reply: so that we can learn to pick ourselves up, again and again and again.

I mean, that's basically what my two-year-old went through a bit over a year ago.

Henke, I think you need a whole viral campaign with a YouTube series "Will it Stilt?" where you put different things on stilts and see if they maintain balance, or fall into a vat of flaming lava.

Only if you've added a third stilt.

I know, wish I could change the thread title, but I can't! MODS, please shorten it to just "Stilt Fella".

Already tried that, it just changes the title of the first post, not the thread.

That's weird. I just tried it on one of my threads and it changed the title of the whole thread. Maybe cause this thread is a bit older?

Yup - old threads have a lock on the title (I think it's two years). Title sorted - looking forward to the next four years of stilt game evolution.

I couldn't wishlist this any more than I already have if I tried.

When's the store opening for premium stilts? Inquiring stilt whales want to know.

Alrighty, after 6 hours and 40 minutes my first BIG MARKETING PUSH is done.

1 Steam Page and 1 Announcement Trailer published,
    15 gaming news outlets e-mailed,
4 social media accounts, 3 forums, and 2 discord groups posted to,
1 company page and 1 game page on IndieDB created,
and one Stilt Fella game on itch.io rebranded as Stilt Fella Classic.

Now to lean back and watch the publicity and fame come rolling in.

Sulphur, that's exactly how it looks in the game. Well done.

You did take everyone's advice with respect to making it open-world and adding RPG elements and crafting, right?

Well, if you're going forward you can only get as far as the finish line, BUT if you walk backwards it's extremely open world, you can in fact walk right off the edge of the world.
