    T1/TG Walkthroughs

Updated missions have been re-formatted to A3, have many more screenshots, clearer view lootlists, been proof read again (they needed it) and look much better

Updated with maps walks now include maps by Athalle, drawn directly from Dromed.

    1999-Present

Includes Full Lootlists (all difficulties) Key Locations (all difficulties), Hints, Maps by Athalle, Strategies, Screenshots and missing loot plus Newdark playing issues, Voodoo47 & Unna Oertdittir's wonderful dml fixes, other known fixes and solutions and as much as I thought was needed to get through every mission.

    Acknowledgements & Thanks
    Athalle....................for all of her maps.
Unna Oertdottir........for all of her dmls.
xorax......................for teaching me how to use Dromed.

All the authors.........(past and present) who put up with my barrage of questions, all of who were wonderful.

You the players.........I hope you find these walkthroughs useful.

Thank you for this great collection of Walkthroughs! Do you have to the Walkthroughs from 2003 to 2008 also as a zip-file? Somehow I canīt open the 7z-file and both links point to the same file.

    Thanks
    Florian.

I posted my Walkthroughs for T1/TG last year when I had a health scare and before they were really ready. I have update the 1999 missions with a very much more professional look, more screenshots, cleaner looking lootlists and yet more proof reading.

It will take me about a month for each file of walkthroughs, so check for further updated years as you need them.

I love maps. The 2 examples are awesome. But having a compass direction inserted would help immensely.

They are all the correct way up with north at the top, the occasional map that has been turned around do have compass points shown. Dromed maps are (almost) always with north at the top.

I didn't put one in as I didn't have a good looking compass, if any one can point me the the direction one I'll place one on the rest of the maps where possible

Wow. Those maps are awesome in their own right, and I'm sure they make your great walkthroughs even better. This community never ceases to amaze me.

I'd even love to see maps like these for favorite missions I already know inside and out, just as a fun bit of memorabilia for the missions.

Just out of curiosity...are those maps embellishing a template that Dromed provides? I ask because it looks like a professional layout that has been edited on top of.

But maybe shrinking it to fit would take away some clarity.

I don't know looks good to me!

But I do not want a border, background colour or to see any lines around the edge. I need to paste it onto the map that Athalle produces without spoiling the background of her map.

Also the needle is not pointing to north.

Edit: looks like it can only work if Athalle inserts the compass. I would not have he option of moving it, or re-sizing it if need be.

I could use just an arrow pointing upwards with a line through it.

    Hi Clock,

Athalle's come up with this, I hope it comes with your approval. It won't be possible to include them on every map but should be able to have them on at least one map per walkthrough. Nor will we be able to re-do the 1999 & 2000 maps to include compasses (far too much work I'm afraid), but will do so on on walks from 2001 onwards

How many maps are we talking about?

Approx 2/3 of the 1999/2000 walks have maps, that's 63/93 missions....There are 183 maps just in those 63.

There will be the even more maps in the 2001-Present missions as the more complex the mission become, the more maps are needed

I hope I didn't come across as "demanding" a compass on these maps. Reflecting my age, I guess, the first thing I do with a map when opened is orient or align myself. So it's something I look for reflexively. In the real world, the compass itself is becoming obsolete as GPS equipment takes over. Putting compass coordinates in a video game map is probably a younger persons first time experience with this "antiquated apparatus". So having it on your walkthrough maps is not essential, but it IS appreciated by us traditionalists.

The compass on the above map is wonderful. Thank you Athalle.

    Clock.

I've pasted Athalle's compass onto the 1999/2000 maps, whose walks are now available and on-line (see OP). It was a lot easier to copy&paste than to totally re-do the maps, however on some maps you can clearly see the crop lines, something I wished to avoid but in some cases it was unavoidable I'm afraid.

    Thank you Clock

How amazing taffer you are Sire fortuni! Thanks for the big amount of work made in these walkthroughs.

All the walkthroughs have now been updated and reformatted. The 2003-2008 + 2009-Present walks will get their maps as soon as possible but the text and screenshots are my final finished version (it only took 2 years and 3 drafts, but we got there in the end).
