Here's some random shots of desert &c., featuring some bad angles and futzing around with Ansel's filters and letterboxing for maximum page composition and viewing annoyance.

I haven't studied the art thoroughly to make an informed post, so this is merely an opinion: from a surface-level look at least, ME:A's art team seem to be inspired by some good stuff (golden age and later sci-fi novel cover art, Bungie's art direction since Halo, a little Blade Runner here and there) combined with an engine and team that knows how to make lighting and scale work for individual areas of their environment design.

Ok so I ponied up for Origin Access, its actually pretty good value at 6.99 a month for a streaming game service. Andromeda is great, really enjoying space opera goodness. About a dozen or so hours in and can definitely see myself finishing this. Apart from the bloody sudoku puzzles, I mean really? Great visuals straight out of 70's 80's scifi aesthetic which is totally my jam.

Yeeeees those sudoku puzzles were the worst. There's fewer of them as the game goes on tho. Anyway, glad you're enjoying it.

Yes indeed, and I see what you mean about the sidequests, but I found that they tend to be grouped in areas so if you just explore around in the Nomad you will generally just clean them up as you go anyway.

You can find Sudoku instant solve keys as loot in the ancient alien race dungeons and they're sold by merchants on the Citadel equivalent space station.
