it was the lite version,as i know i wont be able to run other one
Okay, got through the Redux of chapter one. First off, I played the standard full effects version, HUGE improvement. Significantly better performance on my old ass laptop, and gameplay made more sense, not to mention the fact that the fleshing out of the story actually meant that I had a sense of reason for being in Konigsforst, as opposed to the original version. The only areas that had any significant slowdown we're the ones that actually warrant it, and FPS stayed in double digits even in those, which is still playable for me, considering my paleolithic hardware. No chugging in tiny, uncrowded interiors anymore.
Some constructive criticiscm however.
Lite version seems borked. Some untextured buildings, and missing Garrett comments. Restarted with the full version instead, like I said earlier.
While the puzzles followed an internal logic that actually makes sense in accordance to clues you get, there could still be some more.
For instance, I was dismayed to see that one of my major pet peeves from the original Thereon's journal in the stone while logical once you get it, remained completely the same. I could record a Garrett comment for that room, to guide new players along the road. Something about the fact that those floating stones probably are not there for decoration.
Another one is the tiny spider in the basement. Like the other stuff, their preferred habitat is explained quite clearly, but that thing is tiny. That one could be very easily made much less frustrating if you simply added sounds of the spider chittering.
Also, the underground bit with Faraj seemed to have a incredibly cruel red herring to it. Unless I simply happened to glitch my way out of the place in the end (seem my earlier post) faffing around with trying and failing over and over again with trying to rope up the roots was just a massive waste of my time. Could use some clarification.
Thankfully, I was eager enough to find out what happens next at every turn, so that speaks to the mission's strengths, at least.

I was just installing this mission and I noticed to my dismay, that the genre is zombies! Can someone tell me if they're in both missions, if they're just a few or a whole bunch?
Horror elements are barely present in the first mission. Haven't got very far in the second one yet, so I can't comment on that one.
i got a blocked district key, but i can´t find its lock, how do i get out of the citadel area?
Despite having acquired a pickaxe in the Stumbling Traveller inn or whatever it is called, and used it in the lowest part of the underground area to collect some nuggets, I can't get the objective to find "1000 more" loot to tick off. The wording of the objective is ambiguous, which doesn't help. A 1000 more than what? And does all that additional loot have to come from underground?
Also, I have no idea where the sewer man's watch tower is, which is part of another abjective. Any clues please?
Thank you Marbrien, i wasn´t expecting that.
I'm in wine warehouse, and I can't open the gate, I have no key. Also is there some way to disable the mech eye inside the shed where the safe is? I'm not getting anywhere with creeping only
Ok thanks. I'll try again. That guard that you can't KO that carries the lantern is a pain in the butt.
Edit: My map doesn't have any writing on it, and I was watching FenPhoenix's video walkthrough and his map has the names of some of the buildings in the map.

My map is a single sheet with no names, just a pair of xs on it. Hence I don't know where the sewerman's watch tower is!
Anybody know where to place the empty crystal into the elemental? Wow, this mission is awesome although very difficult and also different than the first edition. Thank goodness we have a great "Thiefy community" 'cause I need some help!
On Expert, I cannot a) get into the Clean & Cozy inn; b) do not know where the sewer watchman's tower is, so cannot find Jonas; c) have not found a spider to use on the guest at the other hotel. Any help gratefully received (fairly explicit please, I've already spent a long time on this mission)!
!@#$%!! I cannot get past that NO-KO guard in the wine cellar!!!!
I am able to sneak in to the shed, knock out the bowman in there, start to work on the safe, but there's no absolutely no time to get it done before the No-Ko guard returns. There is nowhere in shadow to hide, nowhere to turn off the lights, it's so frustrating. If this is what the rest of the fm promises to be like, I have a feeling I won't be getting far.
I had him chase me to the inner rooms, then I locked him up there.
But my problem is that I can't get out of the wine cellar. I thought I had new_mantle on, but since it was pretty hard to enter the ventilation system from the other side (had to make use of the lid, leave it half-open), I suspect I may not actually have new_mantle active. How do I confirm/change this?
EDIT: Found it with a web search. It was indeed not enabled.
