Amazing. The badly remixed Smashing Pumpkins song really sells it, too.
It's almost like a tease. "Ohhh, here's a big action - oh it's over. No, here's an action - nope, done."

Hah, I was thinking about posting that myself. Looks like a big, dumb spectacle I'll enjoy watching on Netflix in a year or two.
This has been such a shit year.
At least dear old tv has still been there for us.
Anyway, looking forward to BM.S4.
More superheroes than you can shake a stick at! Marvel's done a good job with these large ensamble casts in the past, but this is almost too much. At this point I'm almost mainly watching to see if they can still succeed in forging a coherent narrative out of all of this.
Yeah. They really nailed it with Avengers 1, CA:Civil War, and Guardians of the Galaxy. But each of those were smaller casts - practically by definition given that they're all here for this (well, all but Quicksilver and most of Shield, lol). The movie will have to be more focused than the trailer, I...hope?
Well alright, it's on muthafuckas.
Altered Carbon, Netflix's response to Westworld.
Cyberpunk's been on a roll recently.
Dang, were they deliberately trying to evoke Deus Ex:HR/MD with that music?
Looks good. Is that Jamie Lannister at the end?
In other movie news, Quentin Tarantino has an idea for a Star Trek movie that's so good he's just GOTTA make it. He's just gotta. He'll make his Charles Manson movie first though. I will watch both of these if they get made.
edit: here's a clip of Tarantino on the Nerdist podcast 2 years ago talking about his idea for a Star Trek movie. Basically a big-budget version of the TNG episode "Yesterday's Enterprise". Also it sounds like he wants to bring The Shat back.

I'll let Mae Borowski comment on this one...
Still though, a Robert Rodriguez movie written by James Cameron? That's nothing to sniff at.
I dunno how I missed this trailer when it came out last summer. It looks fantastic.
The movie's coming out Jan 12th and I'M GONNA WATCH IT, if it gets good reviews. I mean, I'll watch it on Netflix eventually either way, really.
This looks bonkers.
Yeah, I noticed. I'll still totally watch it when it hits Netflix, mind you.
That was really good, professional and slick (kind of dinky sets aside); captures a lot of the dilemmas of the game; and the guy playing the inspector is perfect for it.
This has me considering making a new thread called "What would you watch if it was a real thing?" but I'll spare you that and just post it here.
If someone actually cast Wiseau as the Joker, I'D WATCH IT!
Tomb Raider.
In about an hour.
FLCL Seasons 2 AND 3?
Yes, I'd be up for that.
Now this looks like the way to do a spin off/sequel

What a hilarious idea!
Hah, that looks pretty good!![]()
I thought you'd watched it because I posted that trailer.
No was just a random selection. Was going through my movies and I'd not watched that in ages, so went with it. I only watched the trailer after.
