This is a pretty simple city/mansion mission for Thief Gold using stock resources. I hope you enjoy it

Make sure you have NewDark installed. Also make sure you install the mission for Thief Gold instead of Thief 2.

Downwinder, remember if you're using old Darkloader, it sees T1G FMs as T2 and you have to manually edit the .ini file. Just another reason to change to FMSel or NewDarkLoader.

i did put it on t1 but still had issue,so that is why i posted

my fmsel say thief 2 final 1.25 fmsel 1.1.2

    my darkloader is 4.3

darkloader says i need a newer version of game i got 1.22

fmsel is showing 90%+ black textures

    please help

i recently updated so i though my thief stuff to run gold missions and now this one is doing what the others use to do

and yes i did change the prefix on the darkloader so it shows icon of thief 1,so that is correct

just wondering at what point does thief get to bogged down with so many files to get a fan mission to run, maybe one day someone can make a all in one package again that is updated to 2018 so no more have to figure out why missions dont work

and i was not able to figure out how to get new darkloader to install of course it don't have a one click button to do it for me,and i suck and trying to figure out changing files things, end up ruining entire game=don't that to many time=tired of reinstalling thief due to outdated files

Finished in one hour and half. Really good mission. Not bad at all for your first.

Got 69 knockouts (I think I got everyone) without getting hurt, but it was a challenge! The mansion was too well-lit and had too many loud surfaces.
Also, I liked the fact that you kept going down and back up again.

Congratulation on the release of your first ever mission vegetables.

This is going to be the year for T1 missions and you have kick started it off with a superior loothunt, which will be a challenge for anybody to find all the loot. Thank you.

Great first mission! Loved the simplicity of the objectives yet complexity of the level. I thought it would be a micro-mission when I saw how small the zip file was. Hurrah for stock resources!

Really nice mission, finished it and was really surprised i missed nearly 1000 in loot. Should have overlooked something big.

    @ piesel

You probably haven't missed any large area, the mission is reasonably linear, but a lot of the loot is well hidden.

Hint: Check any object that may not be terrain, if not terrain look for a nearby hidden switch.

Wow, this was a lot bigger than I expected! Some good old taffin' fun, too.

    I got 72.

Missed a whopping 850 loot, and here I thought I was a pretty decent taffer getting some of the things that I did find. The readable that goes something like "I got some more trinkets from the boys below. Hid them in the usual place..."; what place is this referring to? I found a few things in that general area but nothing major.

Somewhere nearby there is a crate/box which when examined closely is open in the back with the trinkets inside.

    Thanks!
(It's in the lower part of the room with metal floor. Crouch and go around the left side of huge tank.)
I had seen that crate from above, but thought it wasn't possible to reach it.
