    New T2 FM - "Defamation of Character" - 9 Jun 2018

It's been about four months since I started from scratch, and now my first thief mission ever is officially out to the public. You can download it here:

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=1uE...UiURx7Qi6GJmvK
    Darkfate mirror: http://download.darkfate.org/fan-mis...Defamation.zip

This mission takes place after Deadly Shadows, and the plot is based on the wanted posters in that game.
The mission includes multi-language support for English, French, Italian, German and Russian.
I'd like to thank the editor's guild, the testers at shalebridgecradle, the translators at shadowbox, and especially anyone who plays the level.
Also thanks to Aemanyl for making the trailer which you can see in this thread here: http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=148914
Anyone who plays it, let me know how it is - if you're so inclined, feel free to give me a rating out of ten, as well as how long it took you to beat - I wanna know!
Also, anyone feel free to upload the mission to your thief mission collection sites.

I guess that's it! Here we go!

Edit: The third secret is a joke easter egg that most people probably won't find. It's extremely well hidden and it's not a big deal if you can't find it.

    Beta-testers included Aemanyl, cardia1, itllrun10s, greenie2600, gloriacreep, john9818a, marbleman and nightshifter.

Translators included morosetroll, piesel, athalle, fernan and zappenduster.

Proliffia I sent you a message at shalebridgecradle concerning the third secret. To be fair to the TTLG community the third secret was added at the last minute in the last beta. I'm not sure if the other beta testers Aemanyl, Cardia1, Gloria Creep, Greenie2600, Itllrun10s, marbleman, or nightshifter found the third secret, but I never saw it before giving my ok to release. Please keep this in mind.

Congratulations on the release. But i don't understand why you didn't credit us betatesters, afterall we helped you to polish your mission.

Maybe because it is her first mission. You're a gentleman Pedro, I'm sure you can understand this oversight and forgive her

    Congratulations on the release prollifia

A lovely little mission that will keep everyone happy for a few hours we hope.

And yes it's a tradition that beta testers and translators are usually named individually in the opening thread, as well as the read-me file, but I expect this was an oversight in your excitement to see your first mission released.

Congrats on the release! Only 4 months? That's a very rapid development! And yes, we need to forgive her for not realizing she needs to credit beta testers and translators in the readme, but I'm sure she will add them to the original post. Also, I edited the thread title to include the release date, which helps people in the future to know when it was released.

The only other "real" secret is a cave in the basement, behind some crates.

The last secret is more of an easter egg and is outside the station's outer wall, you have to climb on top of the map to get to it.

Downwinder, all FM authors should put "Find Dewdrop" objective in their missions :P.

Congratulations on releasing this! This is a fantastic mission. I really enjoyed the city streets and exploring through the citywatch, I had no idea that the citywatch would be as big as it was but man was it fun. Everything was balanced just right and the length was spot on too, I never found myself too confused or bored and the overall flow and general exploration was top notch.

Thank you for your mission, really looking forward to your next FM!

I had a good laugh at the sketch artist being obsessed with Garrett, and I thought the narration was spot on there, infact the narration clips all throughout the mission were spot on.

In addition I really liked your message behind the banner, I went around taking all of the banners out in the hope that I would find a secret, and finally when I reached the citywatch lobby I could only reach it by staying in the dark and leaning so I wouldn't be spotted by the camera, then when I saw there was an empty space in the wall I thought 'yes finally a secret!', waited for the camera to look away and then popped around to read the note and had a good laugh

Thanks for releasing this little gem!

The FM was a rather short, the overall difficulty was easy, but still enjoyable. A great mission for beginners. Classic Thief experience.
To add a praise, the whole mission was perfectly ghostable, only the Craymen section may be difficult.

On my first try, I found 2/3 secrets and 3255/3450 loot. I will search again for the third secret

Great mission, I think you should have let Garret sign something for the artist that would have made his day complete I know this was done in other missions
and the note behind the banner was great
    Keep the missions coming!!

Aemanyl dewdrop 100% in thief 2 fan missions only,as dewdrop was introduced in trail of blood om mission

i have pondered someone using dewdrop in thief 1/g for the reason to get back story on him,how he was made and by who/etc untill lilly got him before the mech attack the village, could be a deep story to learn how magic was infused in dewdrop/etc

but as of now only thief 2 should have dewdrop unless someone wants to tackle his backstory/creation story
