NEW T2 FM: Darkstone Gem chapter 2, part 3: Point of Entry - Oct 2018

Hello everyone! I have been hesitant on whether I should release this FM or not, but since I didn't want to end this year without releasing something for you guys, I'll just go ahead and release it.

If you liked Trail of Blood or you like Pagan theme overall, I'd say you will like this one.

Because of Dromed issues (cell limit to be more specific) this is just half of what the entire thing was supposed to be. But don't worry, I'm working on the other half and the last part of the whole series.

To encourage exploration, this FM features 2 hidden objectives and an easter egg. Can you find them?

I like Monday mornings like this... a new FM! Thank you DarkMax - your other Darkstone Gem missions were excellent. (And the fact there's another part still to come at some point... ) Right - time to download and go exploring!

I have just finished this mission (and will go back to it at a later time to find all the things I missed), and the Darkstone Gems series just keeps getting better and better!

I like that the FM pays homage to one of the underrated missions in TDP, Strange Bedfellows, while also redoing Trail of Blood, which never really hit the right notes for me. This time, everything works flawlessly. Good ruins, great forests. What I appreciate the most is how the Pagan areas have a surrealist look that's not just "tree houses" and "lol, upside down" (which, mind you, I also like). This time, it channels the same Lewis Carroll atmosphere as the TDP levels, except with a more gruesome tone. It is an odd place to go, and the brushwork is really beautiful, not to mention well lit. I was also happy about the exploration-oriented gameplay. My wanderings were mostly aimless, and I got the things I needed by chance; however, it was the journey which made this one a winner. Well done!

i am guessing the rainbow gems are the rectangle shaped gems you find all over map?i was not able to get them all as it seems like a impossible task, also one readable an ape says he has them all,and another readable says they all over the forest

how many people besides me save the game before entering temple :P

    amazing job on mission

on expert i found 1 rope arrow=4 of them unless you start with 3,i found i think 3 area only gotten to by rope

Yep, the rainbows gems are scattered all over the forest. You might want to theck near boulders, trees and other objects.

Thank you for releasing another dark Fan Mission. I really loved the athmosphere in this large mission. It was somehow hard to orientate in this hostile wilderness, great for people who like mazes. I managed to find around 1.000 in loot and if I hadn't knocked out any AI's I surely would had been rewarded with all two bonus objectives. I found dewdrop, too. I missed the easter egg, I would be grateful for a hint.

    The story must go on!

I've been everywhere outside of the temple so far, with the exception of the location of the blossom rune. Even with the gamma turned all the way up and in total darkness, I have been searching for over an hour trying to find it. Any hints or spoilers would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

It should be in the caves, in the area with the patrolling bug beast.

Thank you, DarkMax. Don't know how I missed that spiral staircase.
