Yet four missions to play but it is time to say thank you to all authors ( and testers as well ! ). As others mentioned, I was surprised by the quantity and quality of the missions.
Again, thanks to all who contributed

And I have just finished all of them, but I have not a clue as to how I'm going to score most of them, less alone pick a winner, there must be 15 missions there were so spectacularly good that in a typical contest they would have won. It only goes to prove that giving authors one whole year to build their missions was a truly inspired idea and if we do the same for the T2 anniversary contest we'll all enjoy yet another treasure trove of exceptional missions in just under a years time.

Just to let everyone know I have made lootlists for all the contest missions but will hold off releasing them until after the contest results are announced.

Once again thanks to all the authors for their missions, Skacky for organising the contest, the testers, the translators, voice actors and everybody involved in making this contest such a memorable event.

24 missions in a contest.... Holy Taffing Hammers, Taffman. We haven't seen such numbers in ages.

We barely even see this number in a whole year. Much thanks to all of the mission authors for this passionate love letter to Thief. Really looking forward to having some time to play these beauties.

Going back to the topic... Currently playing this one, which has quite a lot custom textures:

Any idea what could be wrong here?

This might not fix this, but I've noticed that your resname_base has +.\ at the end of it. On my end, it doesn't. Try taking that out to see if that fixes it.

You installed the game in a protected folder. This doesn't work with FMs. Copy and paste it to another folder, maybe C:\Thief

    End of the contest

    Hi,

I have just finished the 24 FM of the anniversary contest.
I'm just amazed by the work produced, i want to thank all the creators and those who help them for all this happiness.
I'm french and i ve started playing Thief in 1998, i remember me choosing the game only because the CD cover attracted me
And 20 years later i continue to play it thanks to you guys

    Merci encore

@Marzec: I think Una is probably right about the cause. The only other thing I can think of is that you have some mod installed. But that object shouldn't be affected by a mod afaik.

Sorry to post and still continue my problem here under this thread. I thought this issue is contest related, but now it appears it's not. @moderators, feel free to move this thread somewhere else.

I copied my thief gold folder to C:\thief_gold but it did not fix the problem.

The problem is the folder is read-only. Actually, every single folder in my system is read-only... Whenever I change it to normal folder (aka system folder) it changes back to read only... How do you guys fix it? My system is Windows 10 Home.

Of course despite every single folder in my system is read-only I can still modify their content, rename or delete them... It just makes read-only limitations to some executables, I guess...

This official workaround didn't fix the problem:
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/326549/

To remove the Read-only attribute and to set the System attribute, use the following command:
    attrib -r +s drive:\\{path}\{foldername}
Launching thief as an administrator did not fix the problem.

Besides, when you speak about "protected folder", do you mean read-only folder or something else? If something else, what do you mean exactly?

Thank you GORT for trying, but that didn't helped.

I know ppl, that if I would like to fix my filesystem awkwardness, I should probably go to different forums. But still, everything else works perfectly when I play any FM. This object model is the only issue. I'm sure there should be another way around to make it work without fixing the protected folder / read-only folder issue...

I've finally played and voted on all the entries (other than my own, obviously). Thanks to everyone for making this a spectacular occasion!
