Curse of The Hammerites May 1/06

It's a fm for TMA that I has been ready for almost half year, but now it's (almost) bug free.
You can download it from here. (now at thiefmissions.com) Please comment it, it's my first one that is fully completed. I've also planned making a sequel... Oh, and there may be some grammar errors in books... sorry.

My brother and my friends have betatested it. These bugs are mainly sound bugs because of bad room brushing.

And you're 15 ??? I gues we'll hear from you again .......I hope so anyway! Im the opposite age: almost 51 ............ but I wouldn't (still) know where to begin to make an FM.

I compliment you on this one!!! Really I do!

I wouldn't say "in a long time" but it seems like it!

I'm rather enjoying this. This is a good, and fun, FM. Pretty architecture isn't everything! I also like the new sword icon. I don't remember another FM that uses a custom one. Well done Henri!

I usually don't like loot hunts but since the objective gives you a chance to see most of the level, i can't complain. Having to stop taffing some loot though in order to see even more.

There seems to be a bug in Simons diary. It ends with "Page_3 :" in the game. I can't see an obvious reason for this, the file "Journal.str" looks OK. Does anyone of the Editors' Guild know an answer?

Edit: Hold it. There is a quotation mark missing, terminating the Page 2 .

I just need the info on the Hammerites. ??? I must have missed something.

As I already said: Great mission Lots to explore, all elements were there: the bot, the snow, the noises, the haunts ........ a really Taffing Thief FM!!!
You even watched the details, like when opening the door to the hauntarea: it squakes !!!

    THIS SHOULD BE PROMISING!!!

So .......gó and create another one ......... PLEASE!!!!?

Thank you for this FM, Henri the Hammer, I've spent a very nice afternoon playing it! Still haven't found all the loot (I left the collecting the eye part for the end, so I had opportunity to explore the city)

I really enjoyed the mission, but I think it was a bit too easy.

You are 15 and you can build such a nice mission? I think, you will have a great and fantastic future in the Thief-Community.

I very rarely post to this, or indeed any other forum (long time lurker!), but I have to give credit where it is due. This was a very well thought out mission, with great architecture (particularly indoors), objectives that were not impossible to achieve and above all (for me personally) a really good mix of differing and different gameplay areas. Henri The Hammer, thank you for your hard work and contribution to the Thief FM community, it is appreciated. Keep up the good work. I look forward to your next FM.

I love the layout, I actually didn't get lost I almost always get lost, even in games with a compass and map.

    Curse of the Hammerites

    Hi Henry,

I loved your mission. There's just one thing I was wondering about. I could never find the spider eggs. I could see myself having a lot of fun with spiders helping me (as Garrett). Could you help me with a little hint, please?

    Thanxs,

    Hope Vincent

There's a lot more to this than first meets the eye. Just about my kind of level of difficulty!! And no more
    spoiler:
    undead
than I can manage. I'm missing lots of loot so think I need to go back and have another look. I'd also like some tips for
    spoiler:
    dealing with the treebeast

    The spider eggs
    spoiler:
are hidden in an office in the building where you climb in through a window. There's a sofa outside the door.

Very enjoyable fm. Thank you. Looking forward to the next one.

For those who want me to make a new fm; Good news! I am already working on a sequel to this mission.
It will contain at least a small town and a tomb outside it. See its progess in this page.
Thanks again for playing my fm.
