Would it absolutely melt what's left of your mind to learn that different cultures use the same words to refer to different things?

Hey, for just a random crazy example, the word "plum" has in the past meant both any dried fruit, and anything desirable.

Also, I was once served a salad containing what I was assured was "rocket", despite it lacking any visible control surfaces or combustible propellant.

How is this even threadworthy? They're Healing Fruit(s), because they are fruits that do healing. They are not grapes, nor are they even like grapes. If the devs wanted to texture a simple object to look like a bunch of grapes, it would look like a bunch of grapes; not a solid blob of dark purple. Look at the carrots if you want an example.
As for where they show up, they're never on or near a vine. You typically just find them lying on the ground, right next to a big tree or one of these things.

Wait until he gets his daily shot of whatever drug he does, and he'll have an explanation on how apples don't grow on trees.

Apples? You mean earth grapes? Just because they're found under apple trees doesn't mean they grow on them.

they are imported into the city, since i never seen a apple in a tree in a om missions

i am pretty sure the carrots also are imported into city as i never seen them growing in a om missions

matter a fact only the healing fruit is grown in city, pretty sure everything else is imported to city from across river even the burrick legs and bread

Now that I think about it, you never see people having sex in oms, so how are all these people here? maybe everyone in the city is a migrant/traveler !

you are correct psychosis, the entire city was imported from across the river

now when it comes to the old city,a lot is not known,as most of it is built over and only fragments are left, that is why i said years ago they should make a prequel to thief 1,so we can go back to the old city and really get a deeper story line to make thing more understandable

now i am wondering if the tree beast bears fruit ??? maybe the plumsies come from there?

also there is a conversation on thief 2 wharehouse mission i think second mission, where behind building A there is a conversation with a guard and a manager about the city, alot of information spoken there, since they import alot of the things from outside the city, and yes captain davidson is there with the "spice" another item i like a lot hint hint

another fact is captain davidson single highhandedly brought the spiders to the city on his ship

It's ok friend, there are a lot of places where drug addicts can find comfort. Now let's not make TTLG one of those.

Can't the fella drink in peace?
It must be fermented grapes after all, assuming downwinder ate too many of them.
