    Yeah I got it.

This mission pack is quite infuriating at times. Needlessly difficult with many basic game play mechanics adjusted or completely ignored for reasons unknown and unnecessary. But Z has some serious chops. The amount of effort to produce a pack like this is staggering. But it suffers from lack of player feed back...aka...beta testing. Shame, as with just a little more work this could have been one for the ages.

Look carefully on the right part of beach (without the chest), near where the path begins in quicksand .

no i've already looked over there, there's nothing also no bottle in that chest...i think it has something to do with the difficulty you're playing...

Nonetheless, if i were you i would check that part of beach again. While crouching, not standing. Along the line where slope and flat part meets.
But you are right, there is no bottle.
Ps.: on expert, that branch is on the left side, where chest is in the quicksand

You can cross the bushes/trees somewhere to the W to reach antoher part of beach, i mean that other part.

Blimey, this is a tough one! Not sure what to do.
I have An empty bottle and an epaulette
I have used the tree branch and returned to the forest.
Reading the other posts, I have no water arrows or seeds.
Can someone point me in the right direction please.

Are you playing on expert? I think so because you have got the empty bottle.
You can find some water arrows in the brook at clearing, at each endings.
But on expert, you have to solve watering in another way, water arrow won't work (only on normal).
    - Simply just throw the empty bottle into the brook to fill it.
for the seed: have you already checked where the brook leads? After you found the epaulette, you have to meet somebody to get help in going through the quicksand

    Thanks again Cheela,

Had already checked out the locked cabin and had no reason to assume it would now be open. It would have been useful to get some kind of hint\indication of this - unless I missed something...

Yes, it is very difficult sometimes, figuring out where to go, what and when to do something or what actions are we supposed to do to trigger another actions, happenings. What is connected to which action... There could be much more hints given to us, i think that too. Especially because we have to roam such enormous areas.
For example a tiny message on the hut: i am away for hunting please come back later or sg similar.
Hard, but great and unique missions, many times stressful, really challenging, but they are masterpieces, i love them.

How can I get back to the starting area ? The door doesn't seem to open and there is a little hole nearby but I don't know what to do with, I have the lupine seed, playing on hard.

That branch lever inside the tree is broken. You should find a replacement to put into that hole then you can open the door again.
Go to the beach/shore, and check carefully that part that has no big crate in the quicksand
For more hints see posts from #52 to #56.
There is another way back into the starting forest from dark forest, very E-NE corner with 2 smaller dark-green pines.

Thank you Cheela, I'm back to the trunk! The campaign was good so far with original ideas but this mission is very frustrating.
