1. This is a TG mission. Don't try to play it in T2.
2. Install Tfix 1.27

many thanks it is working wit habout 95% . only some passages are blue ,but i can play![]()
Blue is jorge. Textures missing. What did you do exactly?
I enjoyed ghosting this mission very much. Consistently strong atmosphere, multi-level routes to take through the city with nice flow and interesting stories to read through, some spanning multiple locations. I like how the secret area for compendium has two clues to help the player - bit brighter part of the wall and unusually loud snoring coming from that direction. Highlight areas for me were stairway to and top level of Westbury's mansion, sewage area with the haunt in the sealed section and that one balcony near City Works East.
Overall the architecture, visual work and level design are very solid, but rather standard. Of course not everybody has to or even can build advanced geometries with rich texturing in their DromEd beginnings, like for example Schlock. Sealed section, for how nice it was shaping up, ended a bit too fast. There's maybe a few too many wooden beams you're supposed to use a rope arrow on, although admittedly some of them are only an alternative.
That's about all the critique I can offer, very good mission.
I suspect you're looking at it mainly from the gameplay perspective, but I thought it was a good way to build atmosphere, whether intended or not. It makes sense for this street to not be lively considering it's next to the sealed section.
I`m unable to locate the moonkey. i read something about hammers. strong spoiler please.
Thanks
Do I have to install my copy of TG to play this on the NewDark FM selector?
just change the darkloader file for mission to 1 instead of 2,i had same issue,or vise versa depending if that is the issue,if you get black textures do what i said in the darkloader ini file with all missions listed ever played ussaly it should be at the very bottom if newest mission added,and be sure to save it when it closes
here is pic of what file you will make changes in https://imgur.com/a/9Ac9aNX the highlighted one is it
this is how it should look when correct
[a_night_in_old_quarter.15200223]
type=1
misdate=43654
books=56
meshes=1
objects=22
sounds=14
textures=2
title="A Night in Old Quarter"
date=43655
must be type 1,if a 2 change to 1 close and save then load on darkloader![]()

Playing on expert: Hint on room where compendium is hiddenplease.....
What a great mission to spend sunday afternoon, the city worked great, the mansion was nice and detailed, it wasn't overwhelming and exhausting, you just hit the sweet spot. I liked the map which wasn't full of text just basic things to give orientation, the sewers where done nicely and the burnt city part really looked convincing...really great job!!!
I must be blind...I have the sun and Moon key but where is the crypt...I am in the Hammerite cathedral,so I presume it must be near here...but where?....there is nothing outside in the graveyard

Looking forward to playing this one Thank You Korthak
Thank you Supremcee....I found it....I had been there before, but was sure that door would not highlight before...on my way again now
Where's the key to this unpickable door in the sealed section?
Great mission - I spent about 90 minutes just exploring and trying to get the layout down. I think I only have one of the objectives fulfilled. There are so many optional routes and alternative ways of getting places, it's just too much fun. Looking forward to finishing it, but just wanted to say "great job" to Korthak, this one is a gem so far.
