    So, which are the Winter/Christmas themed FMs?

    It's that time of the year again

    Snow underfoot

    Death's Cold Embrace springs to mind. Not necessarily Christmassy, but it has you trudging through the snow.

    You can always check out some of the missions listed in this thread:
    https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthre...=106781#Winter

    Unfortunately this list has been updated last in 2014, so it will miss the newer missions.

    However, my personal favourite Winter mission is "A Winter's Night" from the Lord Ashton series by Christine. What I like about it is the stark contrast between outside and inside areas. It has a strong wintry, cold atmosphere on the streets, whereas inside of buildings it feels incredibly cozy and warm.

    And of course A Thief's Holiday by Yandros is a must play every year!

    The Mission by Type thread is still kept up to date, but there have not been many winter or Christmas missions in recent years.

    Nosferatu mission 2 The Weird Sisters is winter themed and just recently came out, maybe nickie can add it to that thread.

    Other wintery missions are:

    Saturnine's classic, "The 7th Crystal";
    "Kingsbridge" (with lots of falling and fallen snow),
    parts of frobber's "A Keeper of the Prophecies",
    the first mission of "The Chalice of Souls",
    "Christmas Presents" (ha!),
    "The Last Lighthouse Keeper" (although most of the mission plays inside a large mansion, where you can't see any snow);
    "The Night Before Christmas" (sometimes called "Before Christmas"),
    "Blood on Ice" from Sensut's "Bathory Campaign",
    and "Bones Ep. 1".

    There might be more, but I think these will keep you occupied for quite some time.

    Also if you're in a light-hearted mood and want to play a casual snow-themed mission, I made one called Snowball Fight which is just that.

    If you're into snow, you may also try "The First Day of the Winter" - it's a small mission (made for a quick contest), but it features a progressive snow falls, among others.

    fortuni does all the work for the M by T thread, collecting and formatting links. Maybe when he's got a minute he can do that and then I'll be happy to do the copy/paste bit.

    Edit. Nosferatu was recently entered into other categories so I can add it to Winter.

    Hmm yesterday i started playing a famous thief 2 FM, The Chronicles of the Metal age by Sirbalu, and i think its one of the best fms i have ever played, and it reminds me the Christmas a little ( perhaps due to the frequent appearance of red color because of the Hammerites )

    I was waiting for this thread to run it's course, then I format those that are most appropriate for you to paste in.
