    {SOLVED} Is the thread subscription notification no longer working?

    I used to get a pop-up window that said there were new posts in threads I'm subscribed to. I have made certain I'm subscribed, that through Control Panel Only is selected, but I never receive any alerts..

    In the past, as soon as I logged onto the website, if there were new posts in subscribed threads, a small notification pop-up would say so, and give me the option to display them.

    What am I missing?

    {apparently, it was only the Private Messages that showed a pop-up. Thanks, guys!}

    I don't know offhand, I'm afraid. It's years since I last used that facility. I'll alert Al_B to check it out.

    A bit strange - are you sure you got those for subscribed threads? Vbulletin supports pop-up notifications for PMs but I don't recall the same for subscriptions.

    It is very possible I was thinking about the PMs. Thanks, Al_B. And thanks, nickie.

    Is there a way I can change the thread title to have "SOLVED" in it?

    Just for info - after about 3 years, maybe slightly more, (I think) you won't be able to edit your own thread titles and will need to get a mod to do it.

    Hopefully, I won't need to change anything that old. I remember one board that didn't allow edits after about 5 minutes!! You had to think fast!
