I got a rather odd message flashing up when I started the mission, something about "Debug difficulty tied to object#xxxx, difficulty not selected" or similar. Is my T2 installation acting up?

Remember that this mission, and by extension every mission made for the contest, is for THIEF 2. As such, do not load it with Thief 1/GOLD! It is highly recommended you do not use the Enhancement Pack and/or HD texture packs to play this mission. It is also recommended you uncheck all optional features T2Fix comes with if you update to the latest version of the full executable.

Man, that was a great one. In all of history of thieves highway fms inspired by "Life of the party" there is so far none as close as "Feast of Pilgrims" to the OM in my opinion. It obviously pays tribute to the original T2 mission and i would understand it as an hommage to that legendary OM. And it's done by a simple but hard to reach goal: scale and how you use textures and architecture. The overall look, corners, scale, heights and the way you make progress throughout the mission really nailed it. The whole mission gives me back a bit of that feeling in 2000 when I first covered the LotP demo, especially after playing it so many times "Feast of Pilgrims" is new so I'm curious about what's next to come behind that window and around the next corner. I also liked the additional/optional goals, one is a little fetch quest etc.
I also like your humour, easter eggs (especially the FORSEEING after collectiong the map and the creepy foreign language guy that runs all over the city ) and the connection/sidestories of NPCs/characters. Randy Taffer and Marbleman you really nailed this one even if Sean Connery reminds me that I#m again playing gramps McSneakster.
Man, I have to get some sleep, but before I do, I just want to say that this is the greatest rooftop mission I think I've ever played. I'm still exploring after a couple of hours and haven't even hit the cathedral yet. The scale and views are just awesome.
I'm not done yet but, I like the image from Arcania in the intro movie hehe I'm one of the few people who actually enjoyed Arcania despite all its flaws. But, the bite at Cardia is just loool when I realized who the certain readable was about.

This image, it is one of Arcania's loading screen images: https://c4.wallpaperflare.com/wallpa...er-preview.jpg
Oh, that was used on the map from Godbreaker which Tannar made for that campaign, and Random_Taffer reused the map image in the briefing for this mission, since it is the prequel to Godbreaker.
Just finished this mission... wow! That was really amazing! This is both an unparalleled homage to Life of the Party, and one of the best rooftop missions I've ever played in its own right. The pacing, humour and atmosphere were excellent. I particularly enjoyed how much life the mission felt like it had through the use of sound effects.
The level design is superb - really clear landmarking, traversal of the rooftops was great, each building really felt like its own curated stealth encounter, the attention to detail and environmental storytelling was exceptional. The only problems I had getting around were down to Thief's clunky movement mechanics rather than any fault of the level itself. I never got stuck or lost once.
The storyline was engaging but never over-complicated.
Stylistically, it absolutely nails the vanilla Thief 2 Life of the Party feel.
The Hammer cathedral area felt a bit samey in parts, but otherwise I'm struggling to find anything to nitpick with this mission - it's just excellent.
i got an additional goal like: get th hellfire ruby
but i have no idea, what is to do?
i got a book and a letter but no recipe
i got the recipa , but now i find no further way. go down to the cemetry crypt and go back the wodden platform with a rope arrow , but now i spin in a round

I don't know where you haven't been before either. You can go in two directions from that spot. Either east through the tower to that side of the city, or west back across the cathedral to the other side.
Loving the mission so far, but one question. Is Koomley's apartment the building due north from the Fort? Because I can not for the life of me find a way inside.
It is North, but it's not the building right across the street. Don't worry, you'll know it when you see it.
