    Questions from newcomer!

    Hey folks at ttlg!

Long time lurker of this site and a more "modern" fan of the Thief series (i think i played Thief Gold and Thief 2 for the first time back in 2014). As of recent weeks, i have played and finished Thief 2x for the first time and got really into the mood for the games vast library of fan missions.

So i have a few questions:

What should i play? In regards of T1/TG,T2 Is there any list with absolutely recommended fan missions/campaigns? I know i am not the first to ask this, but those posts are always outdated due to the huge amount of new missions that come out.

I have also started The Dark Mod and played the official missions, Thief's Den and "The Accountant" in this last days, so TDM recommendations are also welcome.

I still havent tried Thief 3 and 4 (i know 4 has the bad rep, so not looking foward to it), should i go for those next?

Whats a good tutorial for DromEd? With this current Corona virus outbreak and the looming possibility of my entire college semester being cancelled, i will have free time to learn and maybe finally make that Hammerite mission i have always dreamed of and leave my mark on the Thief community

At any rate, thanks in advance and its always good to see the community still going strong after all these years!

T2X: Shadows of the Metal Age. There are individual fan missions that more polished, but I don't think many missions can beat the sheer scale and ambition of this full length campaign.

    Hey there!
Here is a huge thread with short descriptions of (pretty much) every FM released so far, along with comments/reviews. My advice is just to pick the ones that pique your interest: https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=148090
Alternatively, this thread is a compilation of various most recommend/best mission threads. It's 6 years old, but it covers a vast majority of the releases for Thief 1 and 2: https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=144446

As for DromEd, I recommend checking out nicked's tutorial you can find here: https://nickdablin.wordpress.com/abs...n-for-thief-2/

Thanks for the links and sugestions! I started following that DromEd tutorial and decided to pick Dracula Reloaded as a FM campaign for Thief 2.

Just one question about it, is it the first one in the series? from what i understand the author made Dracula, Bathory and other maps... so i am starting in the correct order? Whats the chronology of his works?

IIRC Dracula and Bathory are not connected, they just have similar themes. I listed them in order of release date so the ones at the top of the list are the oldest and the ones at the bottom are the newest. If you want to go in order of release date then Bathory comes first.
