    There's a house on the side of the square opposite the bank's front doors, with two barred windows one above the other. A man patrols in and out of the lower room, and a bookcase is visible in the room above. That house has an unfrobbable wooden door which, when bashed in with a sword, just reveals a wall. Is it possible to enter that building (on Expert)?

    That fix worked for me. Fun mid-sized city mission. Way too much loot, but that's entertaining in its own way.

    Texture Problem Fixed

    Texture problem is fixed. For those who are interested, it was a matter of loading T2 textures when I originally installed TFIX years ago. Brethren helped me with the fix and I thank him very much for his efforts.

    Also, I would like to thank my testers who are always a big help in getting the mission more playable.

    You probably already know about these but playing V3 there are a couple big issues:
    - You tampered with the size of the playerfactory marker, which results in objects being dropped very far away if you drop them.
    - You have several arrows that have an incorrect StackCount value, like the Armorer's rope arrow or the broadhead at the hotel in the bullseye. This results in these being infinite.

    I can confirm both of those issues^. Also a lot of roombrushing errors (first kitchen room in the greenbrick building roombrush both leaks through the wall and also cuts out halfway into the room thus no sound. There are other such examples of this.) The map seems to be wrong, as it says the weapons are north of the spawn, but they're actually south so ?.

    I enjoyed it though, felt like I teleported back to 1999. It's cute and charming. Would have been a definite welcome addition to the contest.

    Can't see this mission objectives just for the training mission?

    Dear Taffers ;-)

    I've just installed this mission, and after hitting the "new game" button, I see only the typical objectives for the training mission. Any idea why?

    I use Thief 3 FM Selector - Sneaky Upgrade, which works for 80% of fan missions for me, and Thief Gold as the base game. I dowloaded V3 from the link given by Brethren (above).

    Should it be this way? Will I see any additional building or anything in the City, after going through that training mission or...?
    For other working fan missions, I see objectives for FM immediately. Help?

    1. This mission has been marked as "TG Mission - The Hammer Skull 19 May 2020" = Thief Gold then?

    2. As far as I figured out from this forum: THIEF ONE = "Thief The Dark Project (T1)"

    Yes, everyone universally understands that thief 1 can mean either TDP or Thief: Gold, thank you for pointing out the obvious. Did not think it necessary to point it out when people should know this by now.

    And I highly doubt you managed to get THIEF: GOLD (can't call it ONE, apparently) missions to work on a THIEF 3 mod. They're entirely different engines. You're probably thinking of the Thief 3 Gold mod, which isn't an FM at all.

    You can try AngelLoader or FMSel that comes with newdark/tfix. Just go into cam_mod.ini and remove the ; from infront of the "fm" line, so it looks like so -

    I'm running around in circles and cannot find a way to go on.

    I've been into the armory, in the building with two small towers where you can rope up, bakery, a tower with lava under it, and of course, the starting area. I see a double door which is unpickable and I cannot find a key for, it's near the bakery.

    Any suggestions?

    @ticky - You haven't been to the Hammer Compound yet? It's accessible right from the start. Look for a wooden wall/railing just south of the Armorer to get there.

    Access to Locksmith?

    According to one specific scroll the key to the bank's vault is brought to the Locksmith. Is this the small room by the water channel with one window which shutters are partially closed? How I'm supposed to get inside that room?

    Unknown issue

    I play Thief and Thief 2 on Linux using Wine. This is the one and only fm I've ever tried to play where i can only see doors, objects, and lights. There are no walls, or ceiling(sky), or floors - everything is just black. So i have no textures at all. I don't know what you did different but it doesn't display surface textures at all with Wine.

    Well. You're correct I thought Thief 2 mission. I did better with darkloader. It would actually tell me what game it was for.
