    Username Change?

Is it possible to change one's username on the TTLG forum, or at least request a name change? I've been long since trying to phase out "Buccura" in favor of "Bucky Seifert", because well, Buccura is a name I came up with when I was 16 and going through a hardcore weeb phase. I'm quite tired of it

It's not possible to do it yourself, but if you ask one of the admins they might do it for you.

That's how I got rid of that annoying underscore I used to have.

I never noticed you'd lost your underscore NV.

It is possible, Buccara, but can sometimes be problematic, for example, if you're addressed by name in a post and that name no longer exists then it could cause a lot of head scratching.

I should think it'd be OK but our leader must give the final word.

I'll make sure he sees your post.

As nickie says, it's something that is possible but can cause confusion - particularly if someone is well known under a username and then changes to something completely different. We've also had instances of people who have wanted their names changed multiple times on a whim - you can imagine why that is less than desirable! If you still want to go ahead then send nickie or myself a PM and we will take care of it.

Wow, people sure were cruel to that guy, who seemed quite unwell.

You shouldn't link to that ZylonBane. It's not really a laughing matter.

I was about to say, reading that was painful. In the end, he was barely able to write a sentence. Poor guy.
