    T3 FM: The Keeper (18.08.2010) Update: v3.0



    This story take place in the South Quarter. A year passed since Garrett activated the Last Glyph. So here is the continuing of TDS story. In this FM you'll find out what is going on with Garrett, the keepers and the hag now. Some mystical event took place in the City and Garrett saw it in his dream...

    Both TDS characters and the great names of history were used in this FM. Altho there is a tragical story of pagans from North Quarter - a religious carnage that took place 30 years ago. I would like to make FM about the North Quarter in future but it will be another story.


    Changes:

    - changed architecture
    - added new rooms, objectives, objects, music, textures.

    Known Bugs:

    If the game crashes on loading, add the content of user_patch.ini to your user.ini file:

    Great to see an update on this one.
    Seems to be a MAJOR update ! With new areas I guess ?
    Any plans on updating the other missions or releasing SEQUEL to SecretRoom ?

    Yes. In August The Hotel will be released, and after - SecretRoom.

    I like the new rooms and places. They perfectly fit the story. A very nice storyline indeed - deep and emotional. The music choice is excellent. It really hits you and makes the scenes more atmospheric. All changes are good and reasonable. This is a great improvement for "The Keeper".

    However, I need help:

    There is a hidden switch behind a book in the room where the Order of Enforcers gather. But it is not frobbable. I cannot click it. Is this a bug or there is another way?

    I haven't found the Destiny stone yet. Where is it? I have a key from the same room where the switch is but I have not found a looked door for it. What does the key open? I completed all objectives except for this one.

    Would you please upload a screenshot?

    I remember that in the first versions there was an item on the roof of the building right in front of the Pavelock prison. There were 2 ways to get it - using 3 crates, or climbing over the vendor's place and going round over the roofs. Both ways were extremely hard. Please tell me whether the item is there. If it is there I will not bother myself trying to get it cuz it's nerve cracking.

    Small spoiler:


    The dagger is in Roberts house.

    The information was written by Robert after he got captured by the City watch.


    Big spoiler:

    The dagger is in a safe in Robert's secret room. To open the door to this room, you should pull a lever that is hidden over the wooden beams in the room with the fireplace.

    The information is written by Robert himself and he is in prison so look at the windows of the prison. There is a note from Robert which explains what happened to him and what he saw in that fatal day.

    Your job is to gather 2000 gold in order to buy the climbing gloves. Once you get them, you should examine the roofs. How to get 2000 gold? Easy. Find Robert's key in his house. It opens the door to his uncle's place. His uncle is a rich guy. He will not miss his fortune. Steal hard!

    Thank you pwyll. I have founded the key, and I have got the gloves.
    I have founded the pagan artefact too.
    That tip was very good.
    But I cannot climb another rooftops, to find any thing.
    Please help again.

    I have founded the book of shadows, there are a switch in the room in the bookshelf, but I cannot press it.

    I was confused by it, too. As Savar said above "This button is inactive. It is for the interior." That is the only defect in this mission.

    Do you need help with something specific? What are the objectives that has left?

    How do I
    Get above the wooden beams in Roberts house to activate the lever? I have no rope arrow and the gloves won't climb these walls

    Is the key to Robert's Uncle's house on the beams of Robert's house, above the fireplace. If it is, exactly where is it? I can get up on the beams, but I see no key.
