I'm in my mid-40s, and like both my parents, I'm overweight, though I'm determined not to let it get as bad as either of them. At present, I put in half an hour on my exercise bike two to three of the weekday evenings and 45-60 minutes on Fridays and Sundays. In addition, I recently started a slight variation on 16/8 interval fasting (I stick to it 5-6 days per week, which works well with my working days). Here's hoping that it'll help me get my weight down at least somewhat.
