    I have some questions though
    - where is the key to the thieves den armory? there's also what looks like a secret door in the wall but cannot find it. I also don't have a key for the metal door in the small room by the casino
    - I cannot find the key for apt. 5 in the condo
    - I cannot find the alchemist book and the Captain's treasure

I know it's a lot of questions, but I will appreciate any help that will let me proceed further. Thanks!
For the Den Armoury Key you need to find the thief Bert and examine his room carefully Its close to the Coffee House.
Apt 5 wasn't locked for me

For the Book investigate the Alchemist and Fortune Tellers - some earlier posts mention it.

Maga here is a hint for first line of your question I hope also helps - Regarding the wall outline you spotted there is only one way to open it, think about fire and what to do with it, there is a hint towards this in the nearby area which you can reach with help of flares as well.

    Great little mission there.

Finished a little short on loot and with 10 secrets. Look forward to seeing a list of all secrets sometime. Missed a couple of keys, but fortunately the associated doors could be sword-bashed.
My only criticism would be that some of the locations are a little tight. One of my pet hates is getting pinned by an opening door.
Thanks for all your hard work to bring us this.

This is one of the best FMs I have ever played, and I have played a lot of them, I'd honestly put it into my top 3 or at least top 5. The exploration was an absolute joy, so many nooks and crannies and secrets to find out, and I like how the various places are interconnected in interesting ways. As for the readables, I often find myself skipping them in other maps but here they were often tied to the actual gameplay progression of the map and/or provided some interesting world building without being overly verbose. And this is your first map also? crazy. Fantastic job.

I'm totally confused by the alchemist book
In the building where Magia is there is a small room named office on another floor that has a safe that I already opened way earlier. So no alchemist book.you also mentioned a secret passage between Maglia and Blasio,. Pls be outrageously direct in this spoiler pls!!!!

Alright, I think I found the right office, but over the desk there's a painting that cannot be frobbed. cannot find a button to move it

there is a place with a person sitting in front of a fireplace with 3 frobable books that change the lighting if you frob them:green, red, blue, white etc.. is this a secret?

    2)

You need to frob a book in the bookcase next to it,top right corner.

I used a flare on a torch and it opened a secret space with some fire arrows. where to go from here?

After finding the safe itselfbehind the painting, you'll also need the key for it if you haven't got it yet.
If you still need to find it: It's in Magia's place (fortuneteller), more hint: turn on the lights to find it. Direct spoiler: The key is in the mouth of one of the gargoyles. Turn on the lights because it's invisible in the darkness, or blind-frob to get it (the frob distance is set low on that key, so you must be close to it)

1.) No it's for fun and decoration. (I originally intended some puzzle secret there, but I hadn't have the slightest idea how to do it back then, and I gave up on it and focused on the rest of the mission instead)

2.) Then you haven't found the corresponding secret , you can switch off most casino lights from the office. (hint: look closely in the stairways at the casino's level, there's also another way into this passage, you can find it in the area entered from the sewers, just before the Thieves' Guild sewer entrance)
For entering the casino itself, note that opening most door inside startles at least someone in the room (it's not very ghosting-friendly unfortunately) but it's possible to go around mostly undetected if you turn off the lights.

Great! Thanks! It felt me really good reading your lines. I never expected such a good review of my mission

Read first the note next to the fire arrows - it might provide you with some clue. If not, look for a walled up room nearby. Direct spoiler: It's just in front of the same corridor's not-so-secret door, in the thieves' basement. (In the segment with the armory).
You need to blow it open, which requires 3 fire arrows.

    what a mission!
so many secret hidden places and passages, I love it! I just found Joey in the vents - I worked my way up from thesewers, which obviously wasn't as intended

I just have one major thing left to solve before I finish: in the thieves' den there is an unpickable safe next to a moss arrow that clicks. I believe it is on the top floor. No key I've found will open it.
Doing a stat check I'm ~1000 short on loot and only have nine of sixteen secrets, so I know there is plenty more to find should I choose.

A couple of us found Joey that way too

Clicking the moss arrow moves the bed in Lord Siegmund's (Ziggy's) room - that should give you what you need.

In the Alchemist's living room I went to the cabinet with the glass door, the one with plate and cups inside, tried to open it but it was locked. I could have sworn I already opened this door with the transparent key I got from Magia's shop with the crystal ball. But my inventory did not have this key nor could I find the key when I went back to Magia's shop to look for it. Could this be a bug where the cabinet door will close and lock by itself and the key to open it disappears from inventory?

There are a few similar cabinets around the mission, that might have confused you. The transparent key only opens the safe, nothing else.

Back to the point, to get this cabinet's key, you have to find a secret panel in the same cabinet. Direct spoiler: check the painting VERY closely.

Thanks for the tip but if that transparent key opens a safe where is the safe? I did not see any safes inside the alchemist or the magician's places and I don't have that key with me and I searched the crystal ball room area but no key so I must have used it on a safe somewhere but I cannot remember.

The safe is in the small office/closet by the Alchemist's bedroom. You must find a book switch on the bookcase in the very same room to move the painting, the safe is behind.

Okay thanks again. Since I did open that safe I must have used that transparent key. For some reason I thought I opened that safe with the book switch since that safe didn't give me the impression it was a typical safe.
