I know that FMs are one of the major focuses of the community, but what about fanfiction and comics? I know a few fanfiction pieces are on the TTC main website, and I've found some across the web, but I thought I might ask if anyone has any writing they've discovered/would like to share. Someone also wrote a Thief TTRPG too, I think?
I know what I'm binging on between FMs. Thanks, Azaran!
Here's some I found, too, to add to the discussion. No promises if anything from these links might be good, I'm only linking to fanfic archives and fanworks:
- Thief category on Archive of Our Own (AO3)
- Thief category on Fanfiction.Net
- Thief Crossovers category on Fanfiction.Net
- The TV Tropes page on Thief (which has a brief summary of some common FM and fanon tropes at the bottom of the page)
- The Fanfic Recs page for Thief on TV Tropes (needs some work - any taffers here able to help?)

The TTRPG you're thinking of might be Blades in the Dark, which is heavily Thief inspired among other things (in particular Dishonored, Bloodborne, and Scott Lynch's Gentlemen Bastards series).
That was one of them. There was another, one actually set in the Thiefverse, that was made by a fan here. It was a downloadable PDF and made using a mechanics system that had rules for minions.
Edit: Here's the free SRD for Blades in the Dark. It doesn't have details on the default city-setting like the corebook might, but it has enough to get people started on their own game: https://bladesinthedark.com/basics

theBlackman wrote some great stuff surrounding his character Mr Feiht including a short novel: "To Pay the Rent." I have the various PDF's somewhere on my computer but know of no place on the www where they are hosted. If anybody wants to host them or just wants a copy PM me an e-mail addy and I'll send it along.
I may get in touch with you about that, if no one else does. If I do, I'll send you a PM.
I'd also like to add that I finally found the Thief RPG! https://fictivefantasies.files.wordp...-game-9-12.pdf
It's by Fictive Fantasies and uses the Fictive Hack system (https://fictivefantasies.wordpress.c.../fictive-hack/). Fictive Fantasies also has some material for Blades in the Dark: https://fictivefantasies.wordpress.c...s-in-the-dark/
by any chance is there any thief related audio books?
Not in the Thief canon as far as I know. There are, however, audiobooks of Umberto Eco's In the Name of the Rose, which inspired the Keepers and their aesthetic. The monastery the main monk character is from even has its architecture replicated in some of Thief's levels.
Maybe someone here could read out some of the Thief fanfiction on their YouTube channel? I know horror stories and urban legends are popular readalongs on there. You may also want to look up and see if anyone's uploaded their Blades in the Dark games for people to listen/watch.
that would be epic to see a youtube channel with audio books of thief related stuff i would forsure listen to it all
I checked Deviantart for any Thief-dedicated groups, and I found a semi-active one with a fanfiction section. There's other fanfiction scattered across the group folders - just be wary of any NSFW that isn't properly marked. I haven't checked all the group's folders for it.

I'm posting a shameless plug for a piece I envisioned long long ago when we had just Thief 1 and its fan missions. I recently added it to the A3O site and wanted to share it with the TTLG community.
