    Thank you guys!

@gamophyte this recently, was quite pain in the a** but fun.

But is was not that mission, the streets were present and you have to shoot rope arrows many time to check if windows were frobbable.

    @Kamlorn
The streets in the city were wider and the city had more "city", "amsterdam" look, not "castle" look.

I know I'm being not too precise.. :-)

Funny how little of descrition can give people different images in the head.

Yes, I've tried The Tower... The Tower is almost totally vertical but very beautiful mission.

    Thank you.

Have you checked this ? not a lot of missions so the best thing to do is to check the screenshots or download them one by one.

i was thinking about a mission i couldn't find when i looked for it...

the hook was that you had to keep a flare lit as you walking into a long narrow passage... the tension was that something was gonna jump out at any second, but nothing ever did... in one part i think mabye a statue moved when you weren't looking... it was a pretty short and simple mission, i think...

    any ideas?

    Sounds like Shadows of Eidolon.

There's a hallway filled with colored tiles each with a symbol on them roughly 6-8 by 10-12 in size. Each tile was square and larger than Garrett. What I vaguely remember of the solution to the puzzle is that you had to find a safe path across by matching symbols and colors so like red A connected to purple A which was next to purple B which connects to green B, etc. On the other side of this hallway was some kind of loot/special loot item and a lever which disables the puzzle. Failing the puzzle by stepping on the wrong symbol gets you instantly high speed arrowed from (diamond shaped I think?) openings in the side walls. Pretty sure it's not Broken Triad as that floor puzzle had hexagons and the room is a very different shape than what I recall.

*Edit: I'm now second guessing, it's possible that the tiles themselves in-game weren't colored on the ground but were in a guide or readable.

I have more detail, but I might be confusing it with another mission so disclaimer that these details were less important :
I believe it was mostly set in an ancient temple or had a small lead-in from a jungle or boat section. The beginning portion of this temple had two jumping sections: one had small, flat, stalagmites over a large chasm. These two separate sections were bisected by a platform with an enemy (Custom model for sure and I'm thinking something similar to T3's Enforcers) on it between them.

The walls in general were a custom texture that's probably a darker grey than most fms. Very jungle temple themed. I'm pretty sure this was around 2008 but I'm really not sure - I think that someone had made a map of the route through this puzzle but I couldn't find that either to try and figure out what it was.
Damn... i think i played this... if so, i can safely say its from an FM made by an author that joined the FM making hobby on or before 2002. Since i been chronologically playing all FMs made by authors as they join the community and havent gone past 2002 newcomers so far

To @nexusletum, do you remember if the puzzle area had lava around it? cause i have a feeling the one i am thinking off had lava.

Additional details i think i can provide, but hopefully not make things worse:

    - I think this Puzzle took place in a Hammerite temple, the puzzle was part of some sort of trials for novice hammers (or was part of a secret within the temple).
    - As nexus mentioned, there was a big prize loot tied to this puzzle
    - Garrett had to go through different areas of the temple, each had a different trial/puzzle
    - There was a hub area with hammers patrolling around.
    - There was some sort of conspiracy going on with the hammers, i sadly cannot remember much other than the Head Priest guy was evil (or possibly killed by a evil second in command?)

I think the tiles were color coded indeed, i remember thinking "Oh, nice, Indiana Jones reference here!" and dying multiple times until figuring out the matching scheme.

What was the name of the mission that started with a sewer section and went to normal mission, but an optional bit was a locked door in the sewerworks that featured an optional horror section with flickering lights and an invisible monster

Sounds like you might be thinking of The Drymian Codex.

Hi! Could you please help me find a specific mission? I remember it as if the player arrived as a novice, with a boat, and then and at the very beginning of the map there was a steep slope to go up. I don't remember much more than that because I skipped it for some reason at the time. I would like to play it now. Any idea which mission this is? thanks in advance!

Could be Tales from the Cleft: Ladytaker (T2): you still play as Garrett I think but novices feature strongly in the plot (one of my favourite missions!). Or possibly Lone Rock Outpost (T1) just because of boat and initial ascent - no real novice link though.

    Hey Guys,

I am looking for a mission that I just remember very little about but haven't found yet.
The mission was set in either a castle or a mansion with very dark textured walls, almost black or black stone. I remember there being fairly wide hallways one after the other and no enemies around anywhere though the atmosphere (to me) was very tense because it wasn't clear if and when someone would show up.
I don't think it was a horror mission per se but as I mentioned, the atmosphere was still very on edge. I can't remember anything about the rooms that will surely have gone off left and right from these corridors and hallways. They might have been there and been moody and dark as the hallways or might have been locked. I haven't played far into the mission so I hope these few details are enough for someone to recognise what I'm talking about. I'll gladly check out any suggestions.

Since I'm trying to play every FM ever but chronologically (not with the purpose to find the above mentioned FM but just to have played them all at least once) I can safely say it's not an FM that's from 2007 or older, I've played all those and haven't found it yet. And it's definitely a T2 FM since I have played every T1 mission.

I know that I will eventually find the FM but I would like to play it soon and not whenever it will show up in my chronological order.

Do you remember the visual quality? Like was it more like the original thief games or high-quality like for example beltzer's missions?

Definitely high quality custom textures. So the dark stone or marble that I mentioned wasn't an original texture. It was also well designed and not someone's first mission as far as I can remember

Aekoric: I've been putting off a mission for a long time, it's too scary for me. Unfortunately it's a horror mission. But in that one, the house has dark walls and I don't remember any specific enemy. Rose Cottage by name, worth a look.

I found a thread dedicated to monochrome missions.

    Nosferatu maybe?
    Abandoned castle?

    Castle/fortress missions

    Sagittal:
Thank you! Although none of these are what I'm looking for, I think I'll replay the ones you mentioned.
What I'm looking for is like putting on a disguise as well, but I'm not sure about that (not the CoSaS series)

Aekoric, could it be "Brainchild"? Check the screenshots at darkfate.org.
