Especially if you keep their clone stuff and people coming back from the dead stuff in mind.

    https://secondnexus.com/protzman-tru...y-jfk-disguise

In a live chat Michael Protzman -48 talks about the Trump rally and explains that Kari Lake was endorsed by JFK and that JFK was disguised as Trump.
It must be amazing to be in a headspace where you can just accept anyone can be anyone else, the dead can rise again, and there are clones and android at all levels.

But the Rolling Stones one was the creme de la creme: Protzman was really pushing that one, with Elvis, Michael Jackson and Prince all making an appearance.

I'm a silent reader on this forum from time to time and don't really post anything.

When I happened to read your reference to these Q JFK crazies here in this thread, I asked myself how can you still classify so much madness.

...and then I read your comment above, and I really had to laugh out loud for several minutes.

Congratulations, there is no better way to describe the inner workings of these completely insane idiots. It is frightening.

Not that it makes it any better for you, but here in Europe we have a not exactly small number of such idiots as well and I expect it get worse.

Anyway, I wish you a nice week and thanks again for this not short but totally apt one-liner! I think I will incorporate it one way or the other into one of my next TDM missions!

All the gold stolen by the cabal has been transferred to planet Venus for storage. The White Hats are now taking measures to bring the stolen gold back to Earth, for the introduction of the gold standard.

    The ever-reliable FOX News:

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fox...e-officers.amp

Note the URL "California dem bill would let illegal immigrants become police officers"

This is at the top of the article:

Editor's Note: Skinner’s bill would only allow legal immigrants who are in the US on a green card or another form of legal visa to become police officers. It would not allow undocumented immigrants to become police officers in California, as that would be a violation of federal law.
So the Editor thought it worth mentioning that the headline was a lie, but not enough of a lie to actually change the headline.

They did actually change the headline later on to "non citizen" - but there was a version up for a while with both the above headline and the editor's note.

    Here's a good one.

A Republican congressional candidate upset that Dee Snider of Twisted Sister is a liberal, says that Snider wrote a conservative anthem in "We're Not Gonna Take It"

    https://twitter.com/Sessler/status/1512558618746359811

Bummed to learn that @deesnider , the man with the perfect song written decades ago about the attack on traditional, conservative American values… “We’re Not Gonna Take It” is riding the train in the wrong direction. How could it be that he sang for us but now fights for them?
    Dee Snider's reply:

    https://twitter.com/deesnider/status...89911656161280

You think i wrote a song in support of "traditional American values"? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! You funny.
    And the counter:

    https://twitter.com/Sessler/status/1512849827805085697

Do you think the folks that wrote the Bible knew that God was writing through them? I doubt it. I believe God can even use @deesnider and his hair for good!
So ... "The Lord" spoke through ... Twisted fucking Sister.

Speaking of which XD, I like in our era, even despite most countries' turn inwards and ultra-nationalism on the rise, the inevitable march towards globalization is also allowing us to care about each other, at least those of us "in the family" not too lost to propaganda, in ways we wouldn't have in the past, or at least since the last time we had such a common threat.

It's in that spirit I can appeal to our French friends, for goodness sake please do what you can to see this person isn't elected into national office.

I have a feeling the US is going to be trying to heal from Trump's admin (God help us if we have another!) for a long time to come. Whatever these demagogues promise, it's not worth it.

Yeah, when T***p was elected I figured it would be four years of stagnation and stupidity. I never thought he would herald the undoing of any benefits gleaned from WW2, or from the US War of Independence, for that matter.

I just heard that back in January, Biden was giving speeches to promote the infrastructure program, which includes money earmarked for bridge repair. He had one speech planned in Pittsburgh on Jan 28.

However, the speech was almost derailed, because that morning, one of the bridges there collapsed. Luckily it was early in the morning and not rush hour, and nobody died (10 people injured).

Yeah, Jason Moyer posted about that on FB because he (used to?) live near that bridge IIRC and used it all the time. I forget if he posts here much anymore. I guess you need to know that he's a long-time member. I'm surprised we even have active members joining after ~2006, much less 2020!

Sorry but it's the third time they pull this trick on us and I'm done playing. I'll no longer cast a vote for someone I despise to block someone I despise even more. On the 24th, I have a nice sailing day scheduled. Let the chips falls where they may.

I guess technically the advice also applies retroactively to voting in the first round for the person one thinks is best. Run offs are a curious thing, e.g., if you feel like you already did your part & lost. I can't say I blame you. I wouldn't vote for someone I despise if they're asking me to do it at all.

Maybe I'm just projecting the trauma of four years of T***p and the cesspool it's left behind that's still oozing out, but that may be a bridge you can cross if you get there.

Anyway, I hope this all isn't any prelude to some giant lurch to the kook right for the whole free world over the next decade.

This is a sentiment shared by a lot of my friends but I'm not sure how much I agree with it. As much as I dislike Macron, Le Pen will:

    • hand over the keys to all public services to her corrupt, racist friends and their oligarch/foreign sponsors,
    • rapidly inject a massive amount of harmful bullshit into the education system,
    • disrupt all attempts at implementing progressive policies, even those that were supported by the current government,
    • weaken Europe significantly by disengaging from tough but necessary agreements (self-reliance, environment, defense),
    • destroy what little was left of the French voice as a credible and independent power on the geopolitical scene in favour of meaningless alignments with asshole nationalist parties like Fidesz and PiS,
    • foster a climate of hate and division,
    • and more!

Even if the French manage to backpedal like the US have done with Trump, a lot of the harm done will be long lasting and much, much worse than a second term of Macron.

Tell that to Hidalgo, Roussel, Taubira, Jadot, and even Mélenchon would could have proposed a viable, more broadly appealing lefty alternative instead of bitching against each other, digging our figurative graves even deeper with reckless abandon. I won't be held responsible for whatever happens on the 24th, sorry. The whole thing is disgusting.

PS In fairness, I have to acknowledge that I say that from the comfort of a very LGBT-friendly city abroad where I have the privilege of feeling safer being myself than I probably would anywhere in France, so there's that.

PPS Also it's a hot take with a lot of fresh frustration, and there are still two weeks left to see where the wind is blowing. If it really is close, I guess I'll just have to do it and help macron's ass, again. We'll see.

Democracy is rarely about the best choice. It's mostly about the least worst choice.

If it helps tip the scales at all, just remember that in recent memory, there have been 2 right-wing nationalist votes (Brexit, Trump) which resulted in a sizeable uptick in hate crimes.
We've already been a target due to my wife's Lebanese heritage (swastika and the word "bitch" carved into our mail box, wife spat at or mocked when speaking Arabic in public, among other incidents) and I am genuinely concerned what it would look like if these fuckers are handed a win.

Leftists don't like Biden much more than they liked Hillary, but the actuality of the Trump presidency was enough to convince a lot of people that maybe the lesser evil wasn't such a bad idea after all.

Russia is starting to push the "New Chronology", which is basically a fictional world history in which Russia was always the hero and/or victim. It's actually more extreme than typical alt-history military-trash novels.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_chronology_(Fomenko)

The theory is basically that the entirety of ancient history up to 1500 didn't exist, and in fact Russia created everything, made everything and discovered everything. Then later, other jealous countries concocted what we call "history" to spite the Russians.

Did ya know: The Americas were discovered and settled by Russians, and all the cities built people by who were there already (Mayans, Aztecs, Incas etc) were actually the Russian cities, which the late-comers then pretended were native settlements.

Did ya know: there were no such things as the Romans, Persians, Mongols, Ottomans, Han Dynasty etc. It was all in fact one giant Russian Empire. Ghengis Khan was actually a Russian named Georgy Danilovich. The Egyptian Pyramids: actually built by Russian. etc etc.

There are a series of photos here of a "New Chronology" museum in Russia, it needs to be seen to be believed:

I remember some doc from the 1990s where Garry Kasparov was touting the 'history didn't exist before 1500' line, and saying things about ancient Greek ruins being recently created, etc. I figured the education system of a country has to be pretty borked if a legend like him is still susceptible to believing something so crazy, and I figured it can only go down from there.

That said, throw a rock in the US and it's bound to hit someone that sincerely believes the entire earth isn't more than 5000 years old, even with a pretty great public education system. (They took the same classes I took; so it's not coming from any general failure of the schools in my experience.) But it's coming from something in the culture. So I'm not going to claim any kind of cultural superiority over it.

The problem is fundamentalist christianity being given too much deference. Wasn't that long ago that a professed atheist was not allowed to hold elected office when the opposite ought to be the case. IMHO...

Another story. In Texas there have been mass resignations from child protective services, due to being ordered to "investigate" trans children. This has lead to a backlog of cases involving actual child abuse.

Reading up about it, my knowledge of French politics is non-existent, the whole thing does look pretty unstable.

So France had a fairly stable two-party system for many decades, until in 2017 the presidential run-off was for the first time between two third-party candidates, Macron and Le Pen, and neither of the major parties got into the final vote. Then Macron's party thrashed both the existing parties in the National Assembly elections.

Le Pen's National Rally party has won 25% of French seats in the European Parliament but only 1% of National Assembly seats. Let me guess: the National Assembly seats are single member, while the European Parliament seats are proportionally allocated? That's the only way those numbers makes sense.

Things definitely seem crowded on the right of French politics, so something has gotta give there, while it looks like the left is a bit of a vacuum now.

The left are scrambling like headless chickens, it’s a mess.

Past the initial anger, I’m actually seriously scared right now. I see anti-Macron rage simmering all over and the worst part is, I totally understand where it comes from and I feel the same. But that means now that it’s very possible that MLP ends up at the Élysée next Sunday, as if choosing fascism ever fixed anything. The country is very much not doing well.
